Is it me or the anime is more sad than the video game? it sure is very good omg i got tears. I love seeing all these stories being shown in a real animation like this. i feel like i'm into it. thanks for sharing those episodes.
The game is too, but it's more subtle.

It's so sad... I felt so bad for Presea especially since she is my favorite Symphonia character.
As a little addendum.. Subtitles in the fight scene are wrong. Alicia's voice is saying "絶対泣かない人なんです" which means "She is a person who never cries". The subtitler screwed up majorly here and as a result all o fthe emotional nuance of the scene is lost.

Wish this series was longer and wasn't squished into 8 episodes. There's so much of the story that they're missing :( also... anyone else wish it was THAT easy to get Presea's key crest as it was in the game?! Lol I remember it took me ages! And also pretty sure Presea lost her humanity and left her dad's body rotting in her village, and wasn't until she got it back that she realized he was long dead... But meh I guess they had to keep it PG :P

In the game and anime, when Alicia died Presea was 20, since in present day she's 28, and Alicia's death happens eight years before the beginning of the game. That would mean when Alicia died she could be 17-19.

To those who are wondering about the age gap between Regal and Alicia, I think everyone is greatly over estimating Regals age. He was 33 in the game. Presea lost her heart when she was 12. Her chronological age would be 28. That would mean Regal was only 17 years old when that all happened. Assuming Alicia was around 10 or 11, that makes the age gap more reasonable.
+Alex Kim I know this is an old comment, but Zelos actually says Regal was convicted 8 years ago, making Regal 25 and Presea chronologically 20. If we assume that Alicia is a couple years younger than Presea, that actually makes her closer to 18, which makes this even more okay. She looks her age in the game more than the anime.
Because this anime made Alicia look like a loli, and Regal like the macho man he is, it's all confusing information when you don't know Presea's body clock halted for years thanks to the Angelus Project. Can't imagine how many people would get the wrong idea in and out of the game 😅
Also, I'd like to add... Regal is a Lolicon. Prove me wrong.
