As someone who lives in Colorado, most people assume everyone smokes. Its kinda like assuming someone drinks. Like there definitely are people who don't but they're more the exception.

Older buildings in china don't have elevators. I lived on the 6th out of 7 floors for a month and it was HELL, carrying up groceries and luggage and the building didn't even have lights in the hallways it was creepy as fuck.

When I was born my mother lived on the 14th floor (out of 16 with no elevator) and they only got water a couple hours a day and by the time the water reached the 14th floor they'd only have enough time left for a few buckets. Shit was tough... And my dad was in the military and wasn't at home all week.
I remember I walked outside to my car one morning and someone left a huge dent on my car door and a dust footprint of their Timberland boot. Luckily, my uncle showed me how to pop it back to normal using a suction tool and water.

Shit I can relate! Had relatives that lived on the 5 floors, in an old apartment building in China. The stairs had me winded AF! They were steep as hell , and only half my foot can fit on the actual stairs. I was told the higher you live with no elevator the lower the cost of the apartment because nobody wants to walk that everyday.
