It appears on the Alberta province's website that a language test is now required. Even if we passed Nclex, we still had to take the exam. Did you know? There are no states that do not require language exams, right?
I am aware! I have done a video on the CRNA registration changes. There are ways to prove English proficiency without necessarily taking an exam. Unless you do not meet that criteria then you will need to take an exam. It also depends with the province and where you trained. Thank you very much for your video, I got a lot of useful information. I would like to ask, I am currently working as a nurse in my country, so the last question in the pathway assessment tool is: do you have a current, active permit in any country? Can I answer yes?
@@IENFactsCanada But I’m confused because after click the yes, it says “you will still need to meet all other registration requirements, including currency of practice and English language proficiency”. I thought I don't need to take an English test.

Hello, thank you for the very informative video. I opened an account with CRNA before but my pathway has now changed after passing US NCLEX and has active permit. Will the previous requirements be waived from my previous CRNA pathway? Thank you so much!!
The new changes will not affect you. All you need is to update CRNA with your new achievements and request the US board to send your NCLEX report to CRNA.
I’m glad you found it helpful. For the timeline, i don’t think they have a specific time frame…for there are various factors to consider for every applicant. Honestly, it’s hard to tell.
Thank you for the information! I passed NCLEX-RN in January 2022. So, it has been over a year since I passed. Do I need to take an additional English test such as IELTS for the application process in order to meet the requirements?

Have you received the ATT yet? If not, you can submit your NNAS report with the other requirements. Otherwise, I think you can create another account if you didn’t pay for the first one. You can also write to the navigator about it.

If you have Ontario license already, you just need to transfer and apply to CRNA as an equivalent jurisdiction. If not, port your NNAS report to CRNA and start your application.
