As a former Marvel Snap player, I say Marvel Snap has an additional spice: new cards are extra hard to acquire for casual players. As power spikes tend to go with new cards, it's easier to just try to counter with your older cards

I run a very similar list except instead of a toxic package it’s based around C3. I love denying their Skaar with Valkyrie T5 and I also have answers to Surtur with Shang Chi and Silver Sable. It’s also a very good standalone deck in the current meta.
I believe on the last game when the math didn’t line up as expected on the left location is because you counted for the hazmat debuff. So quinjet would be 1+1 , squirrel 0+1 and pig -1+1 so a total of 3. Plus a 5+1 Titania at the end and that would be 9. But the order of that depended on playing shadow king first (resetting the pig to 0) then playing hazmat after. But you did that math then played hazmat, then shadow king. So removing the debuff from the 3 cards. Ended up not being a huge deal but that is why it seemed off at the end I believe
Anti-Venom and Mobius can be replaced by more or less anything, they are not a key-pieces. Ajax and Nova are not replaceable. Red Guardian can be replaced with Copycat (both in spotlight rn) or maybe Nocturne. USAgent can maybe replaced by Goose?
Love your content. But im outta snap i think. Ive had to use 4 keys each week for the past 3 weeks to get the card of the week. The cost of keeping up is frankly insane. Lives too short to line the pockets of these companys. I love your decks but always cant quiet do them because dont want to drop 100s or 1000s on a game on the off chance of being able to get enough in game currency.
You can play Ronan and Darkhawk together. I've done it before. There are ways to make it work, and that's also a pretty clever answer to this meta, so good show by Kin!
I don't run a conventional Surtur deck, and I saw this a couple of times. It didn't hold up against me, but I had all of my cards in order. Late Luke Cage along with Skaar made it too punchy for the people I played.
Not Regis, but I think subbing Ajax and Hazmat for Mold and Ronan is a really cool idea, especially with MM’s synergy with Cassandra Nova. Maybe running Korg to give your opponent a dead draw and possibly help out Nova/Ronan would be cool
I don't have Anti-Venom any suggestions on replacements? I'm currently running a Ajax Frigga Hazardous Deck I created called Hazardous Ajax and so far I've gone 26 wins and 11 losses with it.
I am trying make Anti-SURTUR too, but some player drop cosmo first then Surtur next that make Sang-Chi, Red Guardian Rouge and Shadow king cannot counter it.
Here’s the thing. Snap’s matchmaking is so fucked up when I play this deck I only run across mirror decks. Just played 5 matches and every single 1 was against this same deck. People say that the matches aren’t “fixed” but i strongly disagree. Seems like no matter what deck I run, I always play against the exact same deck or 1 with really strong counters.
Went infinite with a affliction high evo deck. Had cyclops, abomination and thing for massive power swings that works against other decks as well a surtur. Earliest i ever went infinite too 😂

One of the things I really dislike about Snap now is the fact that countering meta decks is almost too effective. In Yugioh, you play maybe a set of 3-5 cards (9-15 in total) to counter other cards, letting you still play your own gameplan. In snap? I feel like it’s way more common to build a deck that is just geared in every way to counter one thing. It’s really annoying imo.
Step one:They release a clearly overpowered card people have to pay to even get Step two:The meta shifts to not even trying to win, just make your opponent angry. Step Three:Repeat process Every month.

I don't want to sound crazy, but I genuinely believe that the match-making system matches up specific decks against each other more often. Even if it's a skew of 5-10%, my pattern-seeking brain has noticed that, for instance, I never see Arishem, and I never see Cassandra Nova anymore. I queued one match with Arishem and immediately vs Cassandra Nova into Absorbing Man. Then, another vanilla Cassandra Nova and Arishem. Now, the card is standard, but... I stopped playing Arishem today, and there is no more Cassandra Nova. Whether it's actually the bot deck they put you up against if it is always at least effective against your deck etc. I would love to see the deck tracker stats on what kind of decks each other deck encounters most often because there should be no difference...but man...I feel like there is. It's unrelated to this deck; if it's proven right once, it changes everything. Again, if I'm wrong, could someone show the statistics? It will immediately shut me up.
Might be stats on untapped if you filter correctly. I know this feels like the case but it's not true. SD confirmed it multiple times that matchmaking does not care about what cards or series of cards each deck has. I think the explanation may be much simpler. If you are playing Arishem, Cassandra Nova is simply the best play all the time while that is not the case if you are playing another deck. Cassandra works on any turn vs Arishem whereas it's only every good on turn 3 vs normal decks so people won't play her late in the game as there are better plays.
Multiple people on reddit have ran experiments over the years and have shown there's no proof to the claim. It's all just you noticing these cards more when you run a deck they counter, would've been proven by now if true

Oh boy a cool new deck and it is an archetype that looks fun! Oh, I'm missing 7 of the cards for the deck and Second Dinner offers no reasonable route for players to get the cards they want. Guess I'll just keep watching Marvel Snap content and not bother playing.

what are acceptable replacements for usagent, nova, mobius, red guardian, anti venom, and ajax? (took a year hiatus...)

Most Surtur decks I've been playing against are running Luke Cage. The current meta is just trash. Tech cards are everywhere and are way too strong

I run Luke cage in my Sutur deck because of Typhoid Mary if I get rogued on turn 4 I usually still win unless I’m met with a Shang chi on turn 5

Opponent probably had mmm on board (pig original cost is zero) or they already had skaar at zero when it got hit
