Praying you get better sis! I had fibroids and couldn’t take it no more, I just had the hysterectomy. Best decision I could have made but I didn’t want any children. We go through it as women 😩
Did you go into early menopause??
@@Ellarie no because they left my ovaries in, I only my removed my uterus, tubes and cervix. I’m not too far from menopause anyways though 😩😩😩 I think I’m hitting peri-menopause cause the flashes hit me every other month.

Oh Ellarie girl, I’m so sorry! Fibroid issues can be so frustrating and worse yet, when there’s no clear path to heal from it ❤ in addition to watching what I ingest, I’m also looking into acupuncture for mine
The amount of google searches and stuff I’ve bought for a natural remedy 😪 there has to be an alternative I haven’t given up quite yet..let me know how it goes! 🙏🏾

I truly hope that you get some better results soon. You have been sharing this part of your journey for a while now 🙏🏾❤. I think I commented this awhile back, but have you looked into the plant based vitamins “My happy Flo”? So many women have shared stories of having fibroid issues and heavy bleeding and the vitamins worked waaay better than the birth control method and they avoided having to have surgery. I have endometriosis and they helped so much with my period symptoms (back cramps were pretty much nonexistent).
The read about the jeans was top tier black mama.
Ellarie, have you tried cutting out alcohol for an extended amount of time? I know I can't drink even a sip of alcohol within a week of my cycle or else it will come early, heavier, and last longer. And if I drink at the end of my cycle it'll rev right back up. 😩 I literally have a one-week grace period for drinking each month. Try cutting the alcohol for 3-4 weeks (or longer) and see if that starts to make a difference.

Finally got a diagnosis for my condition....endometriosis/adenomyosis. Just can't be bothered to find out exactly which of the two it is. Started on the pills , then eventually got on the 3monthly depo provera which stopped me from menstruating . That was a happy period in my life, well till I started getting way too depressed, fatter and my bones were just getting weaker so switched to mirena about 10months ago which came with some slight spotting which I didn't mind. Well till about 2 months now as the bleeding and associated cramps seem to be increasing. I'd rather have a hysterectomy which at this point seems to be my last option/solution than have to relive the nightmare of my monthly menstruation. May God help us all 🦋

@@Ellarie it definitely feels like a helpless situation. Sometimes I find myself asking God why me? But I guess we all have our cross to be and they all cannot be the same. I am in my early 30s and as far back as 5yrs ago at the very least I had already started looking at hysterectomy as the final solution if all else fails latest by 40yrs. I am childless by choice due to some personal issues in the past and also the fact that I simply refuse to go through menstruation and pregnancy and childbirth. Luckily I have adorable nephews and nieces to play with occasionally. One thing I plan to tell myself to make the surgery easy when that time comes is that if a woman had ovarian/uterine/endometrial cancer, then she absolutely had to have the surgery to save her life. This makes having to live with the side effects of premature menopause a little more bearable. At the end of the day, the quality of my life is most important to me. To be able to enjoy my life now as tomorrow is promised to no one )

Yet I must say it was hard to watch the way you spoke to Zara at the end. Nothing at all of what you said was wrong!! She knew better! However the tone in your voice when spoke to her made her shut down. You never want to do that. I know yall are super close, and I wish you two remain that way forever! Praying for you Ellarie! I'm a little concerned because recently I've been experiencing the same all of a sudden. My last 3 periods have been 7-10 days when they're normally 5. I've had extreme cramping & blood clots. I'm going to the doctor if my current cycle is longer than 7 days.
They won’t check for them sometimes unless you ask them or your hemoglobin and iron is super abnormal so MAKE THEM!

I don’t know if you read the Bible or not, but I would recommend finding scriptures regarding the body and pray and meditation on those. God is faithful and he can and will heal you. Medication is cool, but God is the Doctor of Doctors. :) God bless you and I hope you get better.

Previous fibroid sufferer here. Have your iron checked because your energy is low. Academia of Women was able to give me info about the fibroids that no one else did. Tranxemic acid can be prescribed for heavy bleeding and it was not recommended until years of suffering. Dr Kirstie Dyson did my last fibroid surgery and listened instead of just recommending random meds with no personal consideration.
I had my iron checked today..tranxemic acid was the prescription I picked up..so far it’s a little lighter but hasn’t stopped. I have a submucosal fibroid (the other ones are small) and that’s the one they think is causing the constant bleeding and is difficult to remove. I really wish I had another option 😪 i appreciate your info!
