Welcome or welcome back to my channel! In today’s video I’ll be showing you how I achieve a high top knot bun on my hair in 10 minutes or so. I’m using a bundle of Kanekalon hair that I purchased from my local beauty supply store for like $3. Hair oil of your choice
Black castor and flaxseed oil Eco Styler gel
Got2bGlued Spiking gel (yellow tube)
Wide tooth comb
Bristle brush
Edge/detail brush
52” pre stretched braiding hair
Ouchless hair ties (or head bands if your hair is thick)

Hey honey! I honestly don’t have a specific brand that I recommend because I use them all but I used a brand called Spetra EZ Braid in this video. If it’s too textured, you can put a little heat from the blow dryer on it to take some of the texture out. I hope this helps you, happy birthday to your daughter 🥳 and thank you for watching!

This tickled me, especially the pointy part 😂 I used 52 inch prestretched braiding hair for this style. I used the brand Spetra. I avoid the pointy top by twisting the braiding hair taut but not too tight and letting it do what it may. I hope this helps love and thank you so much for watching! 💜

How long do you keep this in btw? Before it starts eating your edges🫣

I keep my ponytail styles for 3-7 days maximum. I switch my styles often. Edges tend to come out due to tension and neglect, sometimes prescription medications. I maintain the style by sleeping with a satin scarf, bonnet and satin bedding. I love to use castor oil on my edges/hairline and moisturize my hair well before styling to prevent breakage and keep it nice and healthy! I hope this helps you and answers your question. Hey! I did not blow dry my hair for this style. It’s freshly washed, conditioned and maybe about 50% air dried. I didn’t use any heat for this hairstyle. I hope this helps and thank you for watching! 💜

It sure didn’t. The white cast is usually there because there’s too much of a product being used. If you disturb the style after it sets, there will be a white cast. To bypass that, I use water to reactivate and restyle. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching 💜
