Yeah I don't play it but definitely A tier. Fun, respects the principles instead of relying solely on tricks, efficient, and playable at least until FM level without a ton of theory.
"Reti opening is good but slow and not very fun" Except that it can force a transposition into the Tennison Gambit by way of 1. Nf3, d5 2. e4, which can then lead to multiple bombastically aggressive lines like the ICBM Variation.
4:40 it's not rarely seen in GM games 😭 5:33 2.Nf3 is a smart move order to play the Queen's gambit, the London, the Colle or the Catalan without revealing our plan too early : A-tier 5:37 : the Jobava-London is agressive and fun, there is a lot of online content to learn to play it quickly. B-tier definitely 5:38 And the Colle and Colle-Zukertort systems ? Super easy to play, ultra agressive and efficient below 2000. A-tier for amateurs.
bird's opening is actually good and will give you some kingside attacking chances. Also it's like a system opening because you play f4 Nf3 b3 Bb2 and e3 99 percent of the time. The only thing you have to learn about is the from gambit but i learned the kings gambit against it so its a fine opening i think it belongs to the B tier because even though its fun and agressive, beginner level chess players can lose games because of exposing the king.
1:37 the Nimzo-Larsen definitely belongs in A tier. Easy to play, you can set up systems with Bb2, c4, e3, Be2. If you choose critical lines you can get agressive attacks, very fun. And you definitely don't need to be a GM to understand the ideas, 1400 may be enough, but even at 1000 you can something out of it.
If the president has 100 elo, is going for a tournament and doesn't see the end of this video he'll be like: "Woah, the Bongcloud is as beautiful as my house. Let me bring that into my repertoire." (7 days later, White KIng's house) *Knock knock* | White King: Who's there? "The FBI"
I like the Two Knights’ Defense quite a lot. Well, not so much when Black plays the Traxler, the main line, or the Fritz variation, but I have had so much fun shredding opponents with the Lolli Attack.
As a 488 elo player who varies between the center game and the whale opening playing white and the Scandinavian defense playing black i see this as a win.
Hello dear friends and companions I had complaints In my opinion, this is the coolest and best chess channel I have ever seen but Thank you for your answer, mr creator In my opinion, the previous dialogues were much better and funnier than now The previous king was much cooler than now Mr. creator, thank you for your answer, do you make changes or not??
the giuoco piano variation is full of traps for black (Italian's gambit, Evan's gambit, also fegatello) so is better for black to not playing bishop c5
Bro u made Bird dirty when it's a good opening honestly. It takes the center under control, has almost no theory, with the Sturm Gambit you can get rapid development and in best case scenario a rook if opp tries to defend the pawn no matter what, plus it can surprise and elliminates all the prep against Italian, London, Caro or any other mainstream opening, kinda refreshing. One of the best games ever played (the double bishop sacrifice by Lasker) comes from f4. Of course to play it at 2000+ takes balls, but i saw people who played it even at 1800, so unlike Grob that's fun to play but selfsabotaging, i'd prefer to play 10 games with f4 and get unique positions than 10 Italians or smh like that where it's mostly the same. Italian and the rest are solid no doubt but let's give a chance to more uncommon openings like Bent Larsen, known for his open mind
the part where it says i used to play four knights game when i was learning but now i dont play it is true for me. I play queens gambit, english opening, and maybe if i feel like im playing against a noob, i will go for a scholars mate
8:35 “playing the Four knights game is like the memory of apple juice.” AH, yes. The good old days.🥹 I used to drink apple juice. But now it hurts my throat.😔
Who is King's Indian Defence Player? I personally like it, because literally everyone who castles kingside loses the game against me due to the fact that I can go for a pawn-storm on the king side and overwhelm the white king. It is slightly unpleasant if they castle queenside, but you can still save the game from there.

Bro gets bullied in real videos but he bullies the knight in the educational videos😂😂😂 3:24
This can tell you he isn't real king who loves horsey
that’s because the king is not real, the real king loves his knights
But I wonder why he disdains the black knight, saying as the ad knight is black. Maybe as a facade?
he aint the real king, Ad Bishop created a separate universe for the education videos with new kings
