Yeah, you can tell they're trying to cater to a wealthier clientele that might like a grounds keeping service to take care of things. I'm sure a big part of the cost goes into that. I personally love this whole design though and want to build a home exactly like this. I hope they never take down this UA-cam, because I want to keep it as a reference...I love everything about it, right down to the automatic generator that comes on when you need it. I've seen a similar design where you could get the log shell for around 60 grand....The way they have it finished off though, yeah, that's probably going to push it up to maybe 200,000K.....And you could probably get a really nice 10 to 20 acres for another 50 to 100 grand depending on how rural you'd want to go. I'd like a property just like that one with a creek for micro-hydro, only, all to myself, ha ha...and not having to wear some badge to fish!... Other than the price they're asking though, I'm sold....That's my dream home.
