Was a pleasure to watch this video with him as a guest. When I started my screen printing journey, something like 5 years ago, buy a RH 250 was a game changer. I'm originally from Italy and I'm most likely the only proud owner of a RH machine back there. Thanks to the endless nights spent registering my little carousel and experimenting with it now I'm in the other side of the world (Australia) working as a screen printer. In some way, that man changed my my life.
I was so happy to talk on the phone with Riley back in 2009 and bought my press (WIN 8/4 with joysticks) directly from him (in his Gig Harbor) shop(when he still owned his company). Such a nice man and so talented too! This is still my press and have, over the years, done upgrades to it : micros, updated gates, aluminum pallets.......Excellent press! I can't believe that Ryonet isn't making 8/4 Riley Hopkins presses today! Missed opportunity for ya
What an awesome story! Riley’s presses truly have that lasting quality-and it’s great to hear you’ve kept it going with upgrades over the years! The legacy of the WIN 8/4 is something special. While we don’t have the 8/4 in production now, we’re always listening to feedback, and who knows what the future might bring!
