EOS lip balms dry my lips. I only like those things for decoration but where I live they are a bit too expensive to just have them as home decor. But I wanna say, what you did, the bow and everything, looks perfect, like if they would sell them like that. Good job Sarah!

crayola actually released a statement that their crayons shouldn't be used to make cosmetic products like these, because they weren't tested for the purpose, and could contain carcinogens.
+Alice Lee Woah, come on now let's not spread lies, they never said anything about carcinogens, nor do their crayons contain any. If it's safe enough for a kids to eat and digest without any problems, then how can there be carcinogens. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't go use the products for makeup, but I don't think you should be making stuff up. You can read their actual statement in the FAQ on the homepage for crayola.

+SoCraftastic to take out the grate there is a little rectangular tab, so you should stick your knife there and wiggle it to loosen it, and the grate and it will pop right out. I LOVE THE DESIGN!!! Definitely going to make this one. Congrats on 1K subscribers

I'm the exact opposite, haha. EOS are my favorite lip balms, and I can rely on them for when I have chapped lips. I have the same problem but for when I use Baby lips multiple times in a row. I have no problems with the Eos. :3

The reason I am comfortable using crayons is because they are made up of wax & pigment (which are used in actual makeup). Crayons only have a small handful of ingredients while most drugstore makeup has an entire list. The reason Crayola released a statement saying not to use their products for DIY makeup is due to legal requirements - their crayons have not been tested for that purpose. However, some makeup that has actually been approved as safe is in fact more harmful than crayons - according to random Google research I've done on the matter. Potentially harmful ingredients // chemicals are actually allowed to be used by companies in some cases - as long as there are only very small amounts… that includes products that are "safe" to use & ingest.

If you want the containers to look prettier at the end , when popping out the grate , stick the knife in at the side so it doesn't mess the front up. Great video ! :) ♡

Wow I'm so happy you made this video, 1 I love eos/ all lip balm, and 2 this video is a lot like your older videos which I really love! I'm glad you made something super cool and unique, and that this isn't another sponsory type video.
Most of the other EOS tutorials put the knife/sharp thing into the container closer to the little tab. It might not make a noticeable change in the container since the plastic is thicker there?
I've not customized my EOS with a design but I've taken them apart to check for mold when there was a bad batch going around and the best way to do it is to hold the butter knife long ways with the smooth end towards the container just under a thread and pushing down on the ridged side gently all the way around until it pops out... I found this doesn't cause much if any damage to the containers...
By the way it is a lot easier if you find that little tab on the grate and pry it out from there! This is a great video, never seen anything like it! Keep up the great work and you'll have 2 million subscribers in no time! 😘😄👍👌
SoCraftastic, to pry the EOS divider out you will find a small lip around the edge somewhere. Use your butter knife to stick it under the lip and you'll be able to pry off the divider easier that way.
Ok ... Thank you for the tutorial , it's great as always :) ... Now .. Questions! Everything went BEAUTIFULLY (even looked like yours except red/pink) I made my outline to fill in with the black ... But when I did so it just started to melt everything?? One little corner worked .. But the rest is a hot mess. I was so excited but no fail. So.. The black mixture .. Do you pour in on or wait till it's not liquid and smoosh it in? Could my outline have been too thick? Maybe there is too much wax & not enough balm? .. Any help would be awesome please :) I can't believe I'm gonna have to do it all again .. Lol nearly burnt the house down .. Turned on wring burner which had a utensil holder sitting on it :p DUH. Ok, thanks doll :)

Eos containers are soo Nice and pretty but the lip balm is so bad for you lips, it makes your lips very dry😔
Actually, it may seem like it on some people, but for others it is the best product. I couldn't go a day without using eos at least once.
