From the beginning of Mark, the reader knows who Jesus is-the Messiah, the Son of God (Mark 1:1). However, people in the story struggle with understanding just who He is and what He is all about-except for those with demons. They know exactly who He is! The demons recognize Him and wither before His mighty words.
But Jesus rather consistently commands that they keep this information quiet. Why this command for secrecy? Bible students for centuries have mulled over this question. It even has a name in scholarship-the Messianic Secret. Why would Jesus want to keep quiet about who He is?
What will become clear in this journey through the Gospel of Mark is that not only is there secrecy in this book-there is also amazing revelation. It can rightly be called the Revelation/Secrecy Motif, and it runs through the Gospel of Mark. Although at the end of the book, all the secrecy is surprisingly replaced with a powerful revelation of Jesus.
It is a most remarkable story, told in a terse, fast-moving style with little commentary from the Gospel writer himself. He simply tells the story, and then lets the words, the deeds, the actions speak for themselves regarding the life and death of Jesus of Nazareth.🌏

Peter made a mistake but Paul reprimanded him in Galatians chapter 2. Peter was still part of the ministry.He even went on to write two important books of The Bible. Think about this before you judge Pastor Bohr.
Some one to help me😮 are we supposed to give tenth or all that we have?
The Bible calls for us to give a tithe, or a tenth, of all of our profits and gains. This is a minimum requirement. Leviticus 27 & Malachi 3 teach us about tithing as well as Abraham and Jacob. Likewise Jesus had much to say about tithing and giving. But we must have a willing heart to give, if necessary, all to God. This doesn’t necessarily mean material or earthly possessions. Like the rich young ruler, having riches and possessions is okay, but it’s where our heart lies that is the issue. Paul says in Timothy for it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. We give to God because we love him and we have faith that he will take care of our needs and he will properly take our gifts and use them for his holy purpose. The poor widow literally gave everything she had. The previous passage talks about how the Pharisees are quick to devour widows’ homes and possessions. Yet this lady gave everything she had trusting in God that he would use her gift for the greatest good all while sustaining her and her needs.
““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

A tenth is tithe but what the woman gave was an offering and i feel like they had something a fundraiser and in that case she gave her all. When there us need God will impress on some to give their all.

It is not enough to tell us this is the last days through the lesson, your attitude, behaviors, and treatments of other when they are mistreated says more about what you believe that all these presentations. Be true to yourselves and to the word of God, otherwise your testimonies are only lips services and they are not convincing!
Daniel 11 and 12 is yet future it has no historical fulfilment even the pioneers recognized that and said more study is needed lest not mix times that can not be mixed.
Not giving to the structure is not withholding the store house is not the establishment it is were God's word is proclaimed

You guys are in enmity with God's word, placing a woman on the panel. I will not partake in profaning God's sabbath with you.
Please help us understand. How are they in enmity with God’s Word by having a woman on the panel? Can only men teach God’s Word or teach the Bible? Can a mother not teach Bible to her children? How about a woman elementary school teacher in a Christian school. Can she not teach Bible class? Or must she stick to just reading, writing, and arithmetic? If you are making a tangential reference to the apostle Paul saying that a woman should not teach in the church, that’s one argument. But I believe that a woman, sitting on a panel, teaching the Word of God vía a UA-cam channel is a very different argument. May you be blessed this Sabbath day.
