Are you serious?? You must be one of those Nigerians that politicians count on to accept anything they say while they steal in your face.... This road will do nothing for the economy... What jobs will this highway provide after it is completed??? Building a road but there is no steady electricity anywhere in Nigeria
None of them investing in the issues facing the country. Electricity and security. It’s a shame what kind of jobs does building bridges create for youths. Foreign companies have left the countries because of lack of electricity. They’re all there laughing with no electricity in the country and yet citizens are still getting electric bills for power that’s never provided.

In my opinion, this road protect is not our priority for now. I think the government ought to have rehabilitated the existing roads in the country. The East/West road and the East/West railway line which ex President Buhari promised to complete is now forgotten. Looking at the terrain of the Lagos/Calabar highway, it is not only going to be expensive to construct, it is also going to be difficult to maintain because of the number of bridges that would be constructed. I do not even want to go into the lack of transparency in the award of the road contract. I think it's time we do things appropriately in this country.

It long long long over due. Nigeria with vast amount of natural resources which is parallel to Saudi but Nigerians are living like a poor nations. Hope these roads are being build by good quality and low cost company to avoid any corruption. Hint hint! 🙏🙏

The one who executes and commissions a project takes the credit for it not the initiator, who initiates and abandons. It is Lagos Calabar coastal road and not otherwise. Ok

The 700km Lagos - Calabar Coastal road is Phase 1 and it is being built in sections. Multiple sections are running simultaneously in multiple states
Thet're starting from Calabar too.
You can start it😂idiot
