I already expect wuthering waves might even self collab its PGR stuff in just to give us a KURO echo, or maybe one of the CUBs as an echos Maybe even take one of the older PGR bosses like Tifa, Gabriel or nozzle and give us a little silly that can be OP in certain ways. Imagine a Gabriel echo that can deploy a slow field that detonated shortly after to do a lot of damage, or Tifa throwing up a thorn wall to lock enemies in place or nozzle generating an ice field with a spray paint can bomb that slows enemies and DoTs them over time. Even if they aren’t PGR specific ones, it’s easy enough to imagine Kuro games COULD pull that off, especially once they get to the goofy seasons of WuWa in the future.

Vera’s dog’, cause they think it’s one of those crazy mascoists that stalk Vera on Babylonia and then fall back into the PGR universe thru another tacet field portal, just puts a smile to my face, all because we got a single npc named that. Meanwhile even when genshite literally has a collab and throw one of its character’s and a boss and even make an empowered version of the boss in a older game, they can’t bother to have not even a key item to reference HI3, since it’s been 5 years and they still haven’t brought back the Herscherr of void Kiana look alike, besides memes as far as I’m aware of.
What’s crazy is that this is only 1.0 Wuthering Waves. Imagine 1.5 or even 2.0. This game is gonna be nuts constantly giving us new bosses, echoes, builds, and the game is always gonna feel refreshing!

@donnycorn3086 Did you manage to fix that issue? Had the same issue, i did cleaned temp folder and then fix game option in the client. But these doesn't change anything. Then i noticed I had 4gb left. And so I freed 10 more gb and then i just straight go into client and launch the game and worked
The Big Boss Turtle is a Tank Echo, if the commenter and anyone else reading this don't know. Not enough experience to say it's useful, but I love the big turtle regardless.
The echos are the main reason why I didn't feel bored like genshin impact It's just too much fun to collect them and get your character stronger it's a never ending journey 😅
Echo addition is brilliant. There's so much varieties of abilities potential in them, not to mention, there would be more and more new echo in every patch/version in the future right, that will be a lot of fun.
Ironically, leaks from Genshin beta tests are already altering character behaviors in the open world making characters act more lively. Wuv Wuv is unintentionally improving Genshin because the developers are now forced to.

The fact that this kind of things usually you have to pull from gacha but in this game you have to play through and defeat them to make them yours. THAT I LOVE!
Exept some are badass looking and some has extra gimmics too. For example, the Hell Rider is my favorite (also a MUST on characters like Cynxia or Encore since benefit from the boost in damage and a short range DPS), hits as much as 3 times with the 4th summons a fireball, but you had to spam the Q in rapid succession and land the hits. Also you can hold Q outside battle to summon his bike.
Imagine, you can get Free New Skills from Echo's you caught and you don't have to PAY or BUY New Characters from banners just to experience Newer Skills. And this is still ONLY Version 1.0 Echoes. How much more in the future. Imagine that.
Can someone explain to me why you can 'Equip' like 5 echo's to a character but only one that will use an ability? what do the other equipped ones do? Thanks!!

They basically work as relics/artifacts, meaning they give extra stats like Atk, Def, CR. etc.
There's a main slot where you equip the one you want to use as the skill, and other four slots that serve only as stats
