my parents are artists from Hannah-Barbera here in the Philippines waaay before and this is such a nostalgic thing to watch since my mom and papa drew and painted the characters before in 2d🥺🥺🥺 this is so nice 👍🏼

I honestly can’t imagine how cool that must be (both to have parents like that and to see something like this be created so many years later) do you think you’ll show this to your parents? I have no idea if they’d even be interested in watching it, but who knows, maybe they’ll enjoy seeing how their work went on to inspire creators even to this day!!

When i tell you i screamed looking at my notifs. IT'S A NEW HEX DOLL! and a character I loved as a little kid. As always Hex you have made me see a character in an absolutely new way. Your repaints are something i always look forward to and i cant wait to see what you create next!

The narrative you give HeXtian is second to Nun, sorry second to none.! I’ve said it a while ago that you “ sound off “ your words beautifully. Are you sure you never had elocution lessons ?? I wondered where you were !? I was having withdrawals at not being able to hear “ the voice “ My word you’ve done it again Sir!! You’ve poked prodded stabbed me ! What!! What! Those boots are drop dead gorgeous! I had a pair of beautiful ankle stiletto boots, a huge silver buckle. Oh my boots were from Soho.! A 40th present from my 26 year old fella. His mother hated me, just a few years older but well her skirt would have gone around me over me and then I could float n it too. My skirt was almost a curtain pelmet, beautiful green pleated skirt, leather jacket stockings and black stiletto heeled ankle boots. Best 4 1/2 years of my life. Well, it takes me back too far back. Three score and 10 now for real. Bummer!!

happened to me when the inspection people came into my uni dorm. just seeing nude headless barbie on my table mustve been an odd experience for them. i wasnt in the room at the time so i couldnt really explain it to them.
Honestly I loved her as a character in wacky races (also Muttley the dog lol). I always thought she was barbie idk why I confused them but maybe it was the pink and blond hair lol.
Hextian giving Penelope yellow bottoms instead of red made me think, that in his/they're universe yellow bottoms are for Hanna-Barbera characters, teal-blue bottoms are for ghosts, and red bottoms are for everyone else.
For me, Hex OWNS the color-bottom shoes, so as long as they have a cool color to em, then they're like "are those the ne--" "The new Hextian Muse Pumps? Yes, yes they are."

Hex!! You bringing this classic babe to life was STUNNING and totally reminded me of an old anime from the 70’s called Lupin the Third. She especially reminds me of the character Fujiko Mine, a quick-witted lady thief who always outsmarts the boys and ends up with mountains of jewels and gold. I just know she’d be gorgeous in your style!

I know this is a late comment, but I felt like a Hextian binge tonight! Wood glue is a great primer over the rough side of the worbla. It really smooths out the texture. Sounds weird, but it works!

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! She was one of my favorite childhood icons!!!!! I always thought she was so gorgeous and I loved how despite constantly being portrayed as the typical damsel-in-distress, Penelope is shown to be clever and resourceful when in danger and often ends up saving herself rather than just letting herself be saved.
