Honeyhoney Performs "Don't Know How" | Fender
/ fender
I'm sitting in a room with 3 of my friends, just sitting round chatting.
I put this song on 2 minutes ago and so far no one has said a word.
Perfect, amazing, beautiful, glorious and stupid good is all i have left to say.
who is writing the lyrics----- absolutely amazing?????
I 'member doing that 7 yrs ago too. Before all the "troubled times"
That's because of Suzzane
what a talent! beautiful. My 5 year old girl loves this song and asks m to play in the car all the time. Thats success!
I saw them open for Jake Bugg years ago. I still love this song
I could listen to her singing voice all day!
I saw you open for trampled by turtles at the blue note in columbia mo years ago. I was hammered by your sound and your voice. Ive followed you since! This song still rattles my soul. Lol
i saw you giys for the first time in columbia missouri at the blue note when you opened up for trampled by turtles. I regreat not buying every cd you had for sale that night. your voice has captivated my heart. Such a beautiful sound.!! Hope to see yall again someday
Wow, I'd love for these guys to play at a local pub!
What a great song. From composition to performance, this is a strong showing of solid sonwriting and musicianship. I love it.
Powerful Honeyhoney
Amazing music! POWERFULL MOTHERFRIENDS! JRE forever!
voice is unworldly ! one of my favorite bands !
Your voice is remarkable. Thank you
saw these guys play tonight at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago -- They were FANTASTIC live. The soul ( as in Southern) comes out in the slower songs. I could listen to Suzanne all day long, but Ben has a surprisingly beautiful voice as well. Nice job guys -- got all welled up with this song tonight :) Had a blast, and well done.
Every time I listen to this song I listen at least twice.
A favorite..great to see a live version....I still don't understand how 26 people could "dislike" this song..or why youtube still has dislikes... wonderful song.
what a VOICE....excellent ....and excellent harmonies!
Damn... wow.......damn!
They burn this one up, few songs in my old age make me feel what I'd lived over a decade ago like this.
I love her voice. Period.
Her voice is almost as beautiful as her face or maybe her face is almost as beautiful as her voice - either way Beautiful.
That drummer was amazing
Incredible musicians! Music that moves the soul, I'm at awwwww. Honeyhoney you guys rock❤️
beautiful music i love honeyhoney keep doing your thing you got fans here in los angeles babe! cant wait to see you live ;)
Saw them open for Sheryl Crow - They were fantastic, the real thang!!!
haunting melody nice
regards
clive
Just discovered them yesterday, stunning music.
i love this girl, and everything she does.
Great people, great lyrics and nice music.
If your a program director of a country music station and your not playing at least one song from this band then you should apologize for not being able to do your job.
Hmm... This is folk... Not country. There is a huge difference. I can't handle country music, it makes my soul hurt. Folk on the other hand, is fuckin epic
I just like talent and I am so sick of corporate radio forcing crap music when there is clearly good music made by people with real talent being made.
Jules0123456789 This is bluegrass/folk, and completely acceptable on a country station. In fact, it's far more country than the country pop bullshit they play these days, and written far better than the cowboy hat wearing wannabes, who can't in the least, channel country greats of old. I'm am so in awe of Honeyhoney, and how they can make such soulful bluegrass at such young ages.
This is real music, the stuff you hear on country stations is crap. They would never play good music like this. Just discovered them watching xumo app on my phone. Blew me away, it was their closer, real get down song. When she took off on the fiddle, yeah.
B-E-A-utiful. I think I got something in my eyes.
Absolutely beautiful
POWERFUL HONEY HONEY! I love how they sound when they go all acoustic, they sound better to me on the Joe Rogan Podcast when it's just vocals and guitar then when they have the whole band, but that is just me ;-)
EXACTLY!!
I just don't feel like the high production Nashville sound suits them as well as the folk acoustic festival guitar + violin / banjo thang.
More intimate / soulful maybe?
GanjaCoyote For sure man you hit it spot on. I get why they moved to nashville but they really didn't need to with a sound like this.
GanjaCoyote Also cant wait for tomorrow, they will be on rogan again!!!
Yeah that was a really good show! I don't know why people gotta be haters in the comments tho. I don't really care about some of Joe's guests, but then I just don't listen.
No need to call them uninteresting or whatever. They are interesting to some of us who happen to be fans of independent music and the process of making a living as a musical act/group.
Not to mention that they are just awesome!
Not every episode is for everyone, heh, freakin' trolls. I like how Joe just admits that he is out of things to say in this one. He should work on the interview process a bit for his guests and prepare some good questions and stuff before hand or better yet get one of his minions to do it for him and prepare notes ;-)
Wow, such a great voice, even when playing the fiddle.
oh my goodness, its the real thing. brilliant!
possibly the best song in music history regarding a breakup
I saw these guys at a recent Jake Bugg concert. And they were awesome!
Joe Rogan's podcast turned me on to Honeyhoney, otherwise I wouldn't have known about them. You just gotta love their live versions....what a great band.
beautiful. really well done.
great band!
sublime
they sound so fucking good live , giggity goooood goddamn
Love Love Love Love this song
I like this Band!
powerful
fascinating..
drummer looks in love lol
jloion9870 Good job that drum is positioned properly...
jloion9870 I have thought about that myself. He does seem very interested in her. Can't blame the guy, for sure.
Now I can't watch without cracking up! I've watched a dozen times and just noticed that!
Big fan
power soul honeyhoney......
Well done they do better live than what most can do recorded
Precision Bass
I love, em.....!!!

Suzanne Santo ♥♥♥
Oh no, I don't know if I'll go with you now
I got buckets of words just to hush out the sound
Of my heart falling down into bits on the ground
Don't know how to love you when I'm not around
I sold all my clothes to get rid of your smell
I smashed all the clocks that had the right time to tell me
How long it has been since we parted ways?
Don't know how to leave you when I wanna stay
So go, go, go
Go on without me now, lose me in the crowd
Oh, I am so, so, slow
Slow moving like a sow, words stuck in my mouth
Steady the lock down and hope it will take
I'm cold rushing water for the levee to break
And the things that should soothe me just wear me away
Don't know how to hold back what I shouldn't say
So go, go, go
Go on without me now, lose me in the crowd
Oh, I am so, so, slow, slow moving like a sow
Words stuck in my mouth
Oh no, I lost track of the time that you gave
Squandered the hours that I should've saved
There's no turning back from my grave in the ground
Don't know how to love you when I'm not around
But I'll learn how to love you when I'm not around
So did they move to a more country sound from their original bent? (new band to me)
Lyric sites say "slow moving like a sow".. her mouth and my ear say "slow moving like the south".. Being from the south, makes more sense:)
And the next line ends with the word "mouth", I thought it was South too
Jake Bugg brought me here...and i like what i hear.
Wow this is pretty awesome, and she has amazing pipes. Bullshit how Adele can eat her way to the top of the business with just a voice, but doesn't play an instrument and is heard in every store, but I have to go on youtube to hear someone with just as great of a voice and real music talent.
Santo's
I didn't know Peter Brady played the drums. Haha
matthew7291 hahaha!!!!
She is the beautiful conduit that makes Nine Inch Nails get hurt by Johnny Cash (in the most beautiful way) and then the break into no… Thing… ness… Also known as nothingness... The honey is the sugar that is the topping on the life and that means joy… And” I don’t mind it at all”… I’m not mad at it (as I would say in my version)… I fucking love it. Period. Another band, called FLOATER, Will bring your mind even further… As a symbiotic “them”, bring in my mind from my Float.... honey on the tongue is a good place to start.🔥🧬💃💖🌈🦄🕺🙏🏿
indiscretion does not warrant destruction get it together
Right, because the chunk actually writes all of the instrumental parts and is a technical wizard of all of the music industry. Her music is completely unrelateable unless you are or were a 15 year old girl. She's a hack that for some reason masses of teens and their moms fell for, with a cover band that ripped the motown sound to accompany her vocals.
That's quite a classless comment you're leaving in defense of such a classy band. I wonder what Adele did to make you dislike her so much...
Olive Garden
Is it just me or is this really really great and raw and their albums are really over produced ?
it's so sad that suzanne and ben aren't together
so are the guitarist and bassist brothers or no?
discovered this after Joe Rogan
The Joe Rogan Experience, Check it out // Train by day, Joe Rogan Podcast by night, all day!
i want to marry her
Who's the girl? She's the bomb!
Sexy, has one helluva voice and saws the fiddle like Paul Bunyan. My late uncle's dream girl.
Suzanne Santo
JRE
Mainly having a mass following that makes it so no matter where I go in public, if there's music her shit music is generally playing. There are people with just as great of voices and actually support their bands instead of choosing to have their personal name as the persona for their entourage. Also what does class have to do with anything? It's UA-cam, where people go to spew garbage.
haha critics. Go create your own music and let's hear it.
They should have never dated
I don’t think they did?
@ yes they were together.
Great song, poor rythm section
