What strikes me so much in this particular performance is the elegant fluidity of their arms and especially their fingers. Something so simple becoming so impactful in the choreography. Just...wow! The crowd singing along has me in absolute tears holy crap. I was at the NYC show and only like half of the crowd knew it, but damn was that half loud. Yuka *was* crying by the end of it. Such a special night. More people need to get into Perfume, they’re the most underrated and incredible band in the world.

When "Star Train" was first released on UA-cam months ago, I cried my heart out because I felt like it was a farewell song. Now, looking back on it, it is more like a second breath song. Like when a hiker is going up the trail to a high mountain and pauses to take a breath, looks back to see what he has already traversed, then realizes the true top of the trail is not so far away, takes another breath, and moves forward.
