Disney doesn't usually false advertise or lie that I know of but this ride DEFINITELY doesn't cost that much. In fact, there is no way it cost more than 150 - 200 million at ABSOLUTE most. Hagrids has more expensive as a total rode, more complex, more money spent in themeing, more to operate, more to maintain, there us no way Guardians is more expensive than Hagrids and most people would understand that.
Yeah Disney said it. But you gotta remember, Disney also paid the guardians cast to film scenes for it, the SFX/GFX artists for the scenes, and the fact it’s an indoor coaster is an extra cost

And add cost of advertising and press events. And then add in the cost to fly corporate executives in every time they did a walk through. Ect. But as has been said, it’s mainly a spinning coaster with projectors and screens all around. Look at the videos out of it with the lights on. Not much there. I think Disney just wanted to have that title of having the most expensive coaster back from universal to be honest. And personally I think hagrids is so much better it’s not even close.

This is a good video, but the Cosmic Rewind price is one I don’t trust. I don’t think the Cosmic Rewind price Disney brags about is entirely true. The building may have been expensive, but I doubt it cost more than Hagrid’s.
Carowinds is my home park, so I've been on Fury 325 many times. Can confirm, it's the best coaster I've ever ridden. I also visited Kings Dominion earlier this year and rode I-305, but I blacked out on the first turn (hahaha) and don't really remember much of it, although it was still awesome!

Hagrid's not only expensive due to themeing, but also due to the new ride system that was developed for this specific coaster. The multiple launches aside, at one point, the ride drops into a whole other track.

You forgot Arthur at Europa Park, it was 25 millions dollars. Also unofficially Fly and Taron should be on that list. We don’t know the exact price but it should both between 20 and 40 millions.

Jubilee Odyssey, now know as, The Odyssey, at Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, England. Built by Vekoma in 2002. Cost £28 million. That would have been around $47 million dollars in 2002

Again though, nice editing and the video is put together well

So I had to use other sources including a video with nearly 1 million views by Theme Park Crazy. I think I wouldve saved myself alot of small errors if I just did a top 10! Thank you! This was my 3rd and final roller coaster video I had planned so maybe it will be the last. I do enjoy making them tho :)
