You guys! I cannot strongly emphasize enough the seriousness of water damage buildings and potential growth of black mold! You obviously are not aware in the way you are being casual about it. You need to get that room and area COMPLETELY dry asap, and you need to be aware of any hidden areas (behind, under) that remain damp, unknowingly. And continue to keep an eye on it for signs of mold and/or dampness. We are among a huge community of ppl ( my daughter) who became severely ill due to mold, and it took several years to learn that was the culprit. It can be a very serious illness needing years of treatment, and conventional doctors know/understand little about it. Just had to share this w you! 💕💕💕

Your ornaments turned out so cute!! When our oldest son got married (5yrs ago), my husband and I cut our own wood rounds from a tree to use as gifts for the guest to take home. I used a wood burner and burned "C & C" with the date of their wedding. They turned out so cute!!!

Ornaments are super cool. Sump pumps last less than 10 yrs. Power went out in my house due to ice storm I had to stay in cellar and keep draining the water. When you get rain be aware if you can hear the pump run every so often. If you don’t make sure to check it.
We have a lift pump in our basement as well, because our septic is higher than our basement floor. Ours has a separate alarm inside with a float to make a loud noise if the pump is not working. Hopefully your plumber installed an alarm when they installed the new pump. It does make quite a mess. The alarm can help you catch the issue if you are home and turn off the washer or whatever is pumping water into the pit. So good to see Katie is finally feeling better. You will be shocked at how quickly kids grow up. Slow down as much as you can to soak up this season!

Oh my ❤, Hailey is a living baby doll, oh so cuuuuute! I can't handle it, ahhhhh😂 She is so close to walking! Go Hailey, go, rah rah rah! Wow😢, so sad about the basement! Travis, please put a high powered fan, blasting on high, wherever it got wet! Avoid mold, its a huge problem! If you have forced air heat, mold will contaminate your whole house, its awful! I just went through it, ended up with a 4-CM fungus ball in my lung😮😢 Basements are a perfect envonment for it to flourish, get it dried ASAP. Concrete takes a long time to dry below the surface. You might want to consult with a mold remediation company for advice. Another suggestion is to sprinkle clumping kitty litter to absorb the moisture deep in the concrete. Please, take this seriously❤ So glad Katie is now free of kidney stones 😢, they are horrid pain! Im sad she went through that torture! Merry Christmas ❤

I know what that is like. My husband and I had a similar situation in winter with our heat going out. And you’re right, it was not fun. Call home owners insurance for water damage. Get that water up ASAP or next is mold in the house!!!!! Once mold starts, ohhh the health problems!! Get water up ASAP, and pump it out, get service master there with big industrial fans to dry up the wet!!! Ohhh my!!! Praying for y'all
Agree. My neighbor had water drip from apt. into basement. Basement floor was barely damp and the restoration people freaked out and insisted that cut a hole into the basement ceiling to see if there was damage and put up super large heaters for days until everything was dry. Apparently you can’t just assume everything is ok once you wipe up the water.

Love the ornament project ❤. You may want to look for the amber teething bead necklaces for Hailey, if you haven't tried it already. The babies just wear the necklace, and there is something in the amber that reduces the swelling, drooling, and discomfort (they don't chew on the beads). My son started teething at 4 months, and his little necklace worked like a miracle.

Call home owners insurance for water damage. Get that water up ASAP or next is mold in the house!!!!! Once mold starts, ohhh the health problems!! Get water up ASAP, and pump it out, get service master there with big industrial fans to dry up the wet!!!

Agree. My neighbor had water drip from apt. into basement. Basement floor was barely damp and the restoration people freaked out and insisted that cut a hole into the basement ceiling to see if there was damage and put up super large heaters for days until everything was dry. Apparently you can’t just assume everything is ok once you wipe up the water.
@@ronica2623 absolutely 💯 if you get mold.... It grows, then it spreads, you get sick !!! Be sure please anyone with water issues get homeowners, get service master and get everything dried up ASAP and industrial fans going for 48 hrs

Love the ornament project ❤. You may want to look for the amber teething bead necklaces for Hailey, if you haven't tried it already. The babies just wear the necklace, and there is something in the amber that reduces the swelling, drooling, and discomfort (they don't chew on the beads). My son started teething at 4 months, and his little necklace worked like a miracle.
