Hey I just got my results yesterday and I got a 5! Which honestly I am so happy with, cause I used to fail maths in my mocks or just got a 4 and i thought no way will I get even a 5 but thanks to this channel, I was able to get the grade I thought was impossible for me to thank. So from the bottom of my heart
Thank you🎉
The only place I go when I'm stuck in maths
Glad to hear it! Are there any specific topics you’re stuck on? 😁👍🏼👍🏼
can you please make a video on forming and solving equations (higher) and also writing expressions (higher) as they are quite hard and annoying topics.good video by the way.
It’s on the list for you, thank you😁🙏🏼
He helped me so much
can't thank you enough for this. I couldn't understand a thing from my teacher but you helped me !
Thank you so much :)
So glad this method helped you out! It’s a strange topic to comprehend sometimes so I’m glad my channel could help you out 😁🙏🏼
Sir. Re: Second question regarding the mobile phone. Does £252 not actually constitute 70% of the original price? So that £252/0.7 = £360. Or am I on the wrong track here? (Currently studying Adult maths WJEC higher tier and finding your videos enormously helpful :-) )
That’s what I put
Was just about to comment the same thing
@Adil Ahmed misread the question
@Adil Ahmed the first question also was a washing machine has bee reduced in a sale by 20% but he warked by *80%
i need a calculator version of this
shush dummy you are still struggling ugh
The question with the 20% VAT on 16.23 minutes . I have divided the 20% by 2 to get 10% then did the same thing to the other side so I did 7,680 / 2 = £3,840 and then 10 ✖ 10= 100% did the same to the other side which gave me £ 3,8400 . could you please tell me where I went wrong with this?
I've been watching the video you uploaded yesterday , so helpful but also made me stressed out as I haven't gone through most of the topics that you have mentioned in the video . The only person to blame is myself as I have had an online private tutor that was not helpful at all used to ask me to prepare the questions for her so she can wait for me to give her the answers and explanation of the topic for her when it should have been the other way around Hahah . been practicing on some past papers tho but only was and still able to do the first part of each paper , what would you do If you were in my position ? Any advice please ? bear in mind ,I'm only aiming for a grade 4 .
@@flamingchillihd7287 a lot of effort there
@@flamingchillihd7287 are u revising rn i am
The problem is that you're not dividing up 20%. You are given the price PLUS 20%. In other words, one whole 100% plus 20% VAT. So what you've done is divide 120% by 2 getting 60%, then multiplied it by 10 to get 600%.
Watch the video again - it's explained well. The price plus VAT will be MORE.
Hi sir,I recently failed maths gcse and was a 2,3 marks of passing I just wanted to know bcause I do believe that you did do the 2nd question incorrect and I think that answer should be 360 for the original price.Hopefully I can pass my next math gcse exam.
Can you try get the edexcel gcse paper for january mocks
I will save your life in this comment 512 divided by 0.80 and u get the answer
Very helpful sir good job thank you very much!!!
The one dislike was the tutor himself
That makes no sense
Hi sir. its loll here. 17:55 for the second question, wouldn't it be easier to just work out 1% then multiply by 100 to find 100%. if I used this method, would any marks be deducted.
Ultimate Revision Absolutely but not always that easy without a calculator which is what this is aimed at 😁👍🏼👍🏼
@The GCSE Maths Tutor that’s great thank you 👍👍😁😁
Im really confused for number1 the bigger number 80 percent is equal to 512 but the next question the smaller pne is equsl to the big number how
