HABOOB!! Severe weather, flash flooding, dust storm in southern Arizona on July 9, 2018!

- Severe storms develop west of Oro Valley, Arizona and produce flash flooding before shipping out a massive HABOOB that shuts down traffic on portions of I-10 southeast of Phoenix yesterday, as monsoon season ramps up across the southwest U.S.
I was right inside this haboob. I’ve never experienced one before. It was nuts. !!!!!
No rain here in Litchfield Michigan for a couple weeks. We need some. Our lawns are turning brown. The crops need it. We got flooded I out in the spring and now no rain when we really need it. I was afraid this was going to happen. It's not summer without a period of close to drought conditions and hot muggy weather!

Be careful everyone those floods across the roads don't look bad but looks can be deceiving! Water always distorts things!

That's because it's routine for monsoon season. And flash floods are very localized, not biblical. Try looking at some of Reed's other videos right around when this one was posted. Heck, try Googling. You can't see if you don't look.

that haboob made it up to my location, and it was a doozy. One of the largest ones I have seen since 2011. Also, behind it was an awesome vaulted thunderhead with gorgeous lightning. it was quite the sight!
THIS IS INSANE! The dust storm was similar to the one on July 5, 2011.
I live in Gilbert (which is in AZ) and I had this and it's still going! It was kinda of terrifying at first!

I witnessed 2 major haboobs when I lived in Phoenix 10 years ago. It was a little scary, but awesome at the same time.

Welp im happy it didn't flood where i was but, serious rain, it broke my tree down, my dad is happy cause they yellow flowers keep falling in our pool, but not so lucky for our neighbor his window got broke. I have a question how can it go from a sunny day to a disater?
Looks like you better head for MN for the storms here Wednesday! We had a visit from the govenor today to assess the flood waters. With more rain scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday we are really going to flood.
I was about 4 to 5 hours away from there i live in Las Vegas I seen that before I left it was bad

The worst is yet to come. All it takes is very high humidity, heat, and a fast moving cold front together at the same time to produce the largest tornado Arizona has ever seen. Along with that comes the lightning and torrential rainfall of an entire century.
I posted up a video on my face book app sunday and the wind on vell Vista just north of ray road was crazy had to been about 70 to 80 mph with heavy rains

I live in Vegas and it only rains here about 2 or 3 times a year. Seeing the sun everyday can be depressing. I’m losing my mind!!! And I wish it was 80. We average about 108 this time a year 🔥

I remember when this happened, I was 9 years old, I was terrified I would always look outside from my room and always scream WERE ARE GANNA DIEEEE!!!!!!! LOL XD, I'm 10 now I'm used to flash floods, dust storms, and all that scary sh--I mean shizzle.

omg my house got hit by this, my back padio door was shaking, we could feel wind coming in, something glass outside broke, our chairs tipped over...it was a strong one. Me and my sister were home alone and we were so scared
