You know, those are nice slabs of wood young man, but you know what I noticed most was the triple Nickel setting there all photogenic like, just sayin, you got competition in that respect youngster, be careful, she’s gonna best ya!!!!😂😂 Thanks for the video sir, enjoyed it.
Cap’n pile your other wood on top with stickers to separate it from your slabs… that’ll slow the drying process (to reduce checks and splits) and protect it from rapid heat and moisture changes. About a year or two, these’ll be ready to woodwork! Nicely done bud.
Congrats on the new channel ... subscribed of course. Liking the differing projects on here ... keep'em coming !!! BTW ... betting Logger Wade would cut you a good deal to run those slabs thru his Commercial Planer ... beats heck out of doing it with a handheld electric planer.
I tried to slab an Eastern Red Cedar - made a mess of it. I've got a friend with a saw mill, so I'm going to take some logs down to his place and give it a try. If it works well and I like it, I may have to save up and get one of my own. With 35 acres of trees, it would be very useful. great video!
Great slabs there Captain!! I don't think the ants approved of your demolition job, better keep an eye open when you are sleeping..... they may take their revenge on you 😵🤣🤦♂️
Mike I have never said anything bad to you at all I think it would look great but you need to put two Taps on when you're using a chainsaw and your face mask please this is Bob from Vero Beach Florida God bless have a great week and stay safe

Great job for doing it freehand! You make it look easy. Looking forward to seeing the table in the yacht.

Sorry I'm late to the party! This stuff is right up my alley for sure. That was good work cutting those slabs with the chainsaw and no bed!

I think you done a fine job with the chainsaw. That’s harder to do than what people might think. Going to be nice. Thanks

Why do peoples using chain saws and other similarly engined equipment rev and rev and rev them?
Buy a chainsaw, start it, and don't rev it...it's not possible
