The reverence embodied in our hallowed sanctuaries has been the inspiration for composers and artists for centuries. "Stained Glass", inspired by breathtaking colors, light and pictures, brings some the most recognizable sacred and classical music back to the field. Yet, this far from a quiet hymnal, at times bombastic and unrelenting, other times tearfully plaintive, Steve's arrangement has ample opportunity to explore the use of color through floors, panels, flags and costumes.

This is amazing. Thank you for posting and for the info about the band. I saw Christian Rapid in SF, 1971 for the last days of the Fillmore and was very impressed by this song and how much they sounded like Cream. This recording captures that, but I heard it played only a few times on KSJO fm in San Jose. This is truly rare, thanks again!
