Thanks Denny, you brought tears to my eyes, I left Guyana in 1979. As a young man I spent 3years (1975-1978) as a Postman in Mahaicony. It was perhaps some of the best days of my life. The people were so loving, the villages were great. SO MANY FRIENDS. I pray one day I can go back. Thanks again

That 🌳 Tree in middle of Perseverance Mahaicony was planted by the Dutch as a mark during the time they were building British Guiana.

Denny this video was done excellent, the speed was nice u can see the beauty of the place also the explanation was good . Guyana is always special with natural land and nature.I hope the young people appreciate this land.Guyanese needed to recycle plastic glass engine oil metals and cardboard. We needed to keep the country green like your videos.u have done a good job with your family. The next video must be rice growing and harvesting thank u very much.

Just discovered your vlogs and have enjoyed very much. I was born in Good Faith, Mahacony. Enjoyed your trip up East Coast Demerara. I left Guyana in 1968, I was 17 then. I did not recognize any of it. Some of the fruit trees are gone, buildings are different. The curves on the newly paved roads are somewhat the same. Thanks for sharing your video.

You live right across from the ball field? Really? I remember people around the ball field was Dolph Pinder House, the Church, the Gonsalves, the Bynoes (Waverly, XO, Gordon) used to live across from there.
Oh yes and Bhula and John Roberts and their kids Bunny, Buxie, Kim, Wistil, Tessa, Dave, Wayne, Frenno, Ian, Julian, lenny, Benson.
I think Rutherford was close to there too
      So who are you???
