- In this video I show you how to modify an SG90 servo or similar to have continuous rotation from any transmitter, controlling the direction and speed.
Can be used on any servo with similar mechanics.
I just started on youtube and a like or a subscription helps a lot. It's free :)
In the future I will upload many videos from different fields such electronics, audio, RCs, etc..
I hope you like it
Thanks for watching -
thx mate, i was trying to trick the potentiometer electronically but i had no success.
Great simple solution, i owe you a beer🍻
It was what i looking for...great it works...thanks
Thank you my friend
Super ,Top
mine has a brass pin on the potenciometer all the way to the final gear, also this pin is the axle that the two gear rotate around, i have desoldered it and used a trimpot in the place and it worked!!
hi i found that i had the exact same problem but if you get the plastic stumps out of the way you can get it to 360
Can u program the servo to speed up an stay like that with out the arduino
About receiver, can I have a look at the detail about the receiver?
Please let me know how to know the minimum and maximum values of my servo motor
Great Video! Im planning to use this in the Rc Conversion of my 1/35 tank. But just to clarify, the speed of the rotation is in relation to the transmitter right? Like if it the modified servo is connected to the transmitter's throttle stick channel, the speed of the servo's rotation depends on how I push the throttle stick?
Yes
I bought this online and it's already set to be continuous. I don't know what to use with it.
Will I be able to control the angle of the servo even after detaching it from the potentiometer? I need it to rotate from -720 to +720 with precise angle feedback
I believe you want to use a rotary encoder in place of potentiometer , like in the optical computer mice if what you seek is precision, that's the way to go! Cheers
@@MyWillyboi Is there a way to use code to control the angle or replacing the poti is the only way ?
Using tx does it still reverse and have speed control?
yes
Use a stepper motor
Gracias. Me pondré a ello ;)
Is it Can to control the speed??
Cool!....but Can i still use a code to control its speed and direction?
Yep. Everything still working as normal
@@h.r.esystems3049 thanks! :)
I tried but I can’t get it to reverse direction
@@PKP510 try 0 degree
ok
tengo un probelma
Bro mine is spinning soo fast
Use pwm
code?
There's no code. This is just a hardware modification to allow 360° rotation.
So where is PWM, where is the control? You just have a 360 servo. That's it.
The servo works with pwm, this is not a 360 servo as it does not have angle control, this is basically a motor with reduction and H bridge included, using pwm you control the direction and speed of the motor, useful in some projects
Nice hack but how to control the speed ?
The speed is controlled by the pwm signal of the receiver
@@h.r.esystems3049 ????
So. With a remote controller for example. You can regulate the speed when the pwm values are at between 0-30. All over that makes the servo rotate at full speed
thank you very much ! I tired blynk but didnt get it to work!
wutafak is dis xd
Hi, I wrote you on Instagram, I want to ask you something
