Ah, the delightful game I occasionally drift back to every few years to recollect all the awards again, fond memories of permanently blocking and glitching Pester eternally in his own lil iron fence while I laughed maniaclly, romancing my elephanillas like wildfire.
The only thing I wish this game had was the lack of a starting garden. I really liked keeping the trashed statues or rocks from the first game in my garden
There's a bug in TIP where piñatas that are trapped will take up space in the garden. Sometimes it persists even when they've been freed. Edit: okay you also brought it up lmao, its a weird mechanic. Well heres a different bit of advice: You can use fencing to stop professor pester coming into the garden. Anything stronger than wire works.

I could be wrong, but i believe the reason the sour lemmoning died seemingly randomly is that it is common myth that lemmings (the cute little guys they are based off) will jump off cliffs for no reason in real life (this is mostly a myth)
Oh, and lottie has an item in her shop that stops ruffians from spawning, as well as a decoy piñata that professor pester destroys instead of your most valuable piñata
context: it YEETS Professor Pester out of the garden, no paying required. It scares pinatas when it stomps infront of them. A small price to pay for salvation.
He said in the first game you couldn't leave the bounds of your garden, You could If you pushed hard enough against the white outline, but you couldn't really interact with anything outside of it, just free roam
1:40 you actually can leave the bounds of the garden in the first game. You just gotta keep pushing against the boundary for a few seconds and you'll move past it. But its pretty useless, since you cant select anything out of the garden like you can in TIP. It removes the circle you use to select with until you go back into garden.
@@flegzo Yup. Unless I got a specialized copy of Viva Piñata and mine is the only one that can do that. But it's not a complete loss, since you can't do anything while you're out of bounds other than look around. So it is more useful in TIP
Limeoceros was one of my favourite pinatas. it was so stratifying seeing him YEET pester into the atmosphere. saved me countless of chocolate coins from bribing all the damn time.

As a longtime fan of Viva Pinata, I'm glad it's starting to get some traction during the first few years of Rare's absorption by Microsoft. As for TIP, while I don't think it's better than the original, I will say it's on equal footing. The new Pinatas are a nice touch, and I appreciate how it tries to be more than just DLC before DLC was a major thing. It's not perfect, though; the Romance mazes, much like last time, while not impossible, can be a pain the ass when you're trying to Master Romance every Pinata that can do it. On top of that, Pester is, pardon the pun, a lot more of a pest than last time. Look, I know he and the Ruffians are a staple of the series (and one of the best parts of the show, but I digress), but did they have to bring him in at an earlier level than last time? At least lemme get the Sour Macaracoon before you bring the hammer- er, beating stick, down! But aside from that, the game is on equal footing with the original, even if I'm a bit more biased towards the first.
No way! I saw gameplay of the DS version of Trouble in Paradise ages ago and thought that was the only one. I didn't realize there was a version of this sequel with all the good graphics of the first game - looks sweet! 😃
In my opinion, Viva Piñata: Trouble In Paradise is a game where you takes care an extensive land on which animal care, harvest and ease of work are primordial for it. Making an even safer place could be essential for all the piñatas from that wanders around Piñata Island, but purificating sour individuals is also one of the most important tasks to do. Moreover, one of the most difficult task is creating a Choclodocus (a piñata with different parts made out of many ways). An individual of those could be created depending of the color of the bone according of three things (head, body colour and tail shape). To do that, the requests for it are so difficult to obtain. On its origins, Viva Piñata had used to be a cartoon series on Nickelodeon, but it had been lately released as a game for Xbox 360. However, it had become a forgotten gem, so that is why that all of them should be handled with safety and respect.
TIP is super nostalgic to me. I never played it because my brother owned the Xbox 360, but I watched playthroughs *and* some episodes of the TV show on UA-cam. Got to the point I made my own fanmade pinatas, like one of a seal named Sealmint.

I heard that there's a fan game being made in steam. I have a theory: I think the chocodoculas, some of the wildcards are meant to foreshadow a game that features the player exploring the past and meeting ancient pinatas.

After recently coming across your video of the first game, this one pops up today. That's pretty awesome. After watching the first vid I got the urge to dive back into this franchise all over again. I want them to come back to these games and at least remaster them and bring them into modern era but sadly I don't know if they ever will.

A fun secret with the training stick. If you poke a pinata as it begins to coccoon from a baby into an adult sized pinata, you can permanently get different sized pinatas. You can have baby sized adults or an even harder thing is a medium sized pinata if you time it as it is changing from small to big. Some really funny examples are the fudgehodge who is miniscule compared to its adult size and the worm who is almost impossible to see in small form.
Also it's sad that you found out about the ban-board fact so late, I feel like it would have helped you to get and romance specific pinatas, for example, ypu could ban tafflys or sparrowminta to not have them to constantly come ans take your garden space
This is so late but uh... you can use the mailing system to store piñatas via a very easy exploit. I dont remember how to do it off the top of my head but i remember using it to store my faves

I fell in love, I unlocked everything in that game from romances to pinatas to having max money. I always wanted to play the xbox versions but didn't know how to get it and I also no longer have an Xbox. I recently learned how to get it on PC and I'm now playing the first game and can't wait to try out the second game. PLZZZZ give us a third game!!!!!!

You can get outside of the white lines in the other one, ypu just got to constantly push against the white line then it lets you out where as this game, you dont have to push it against the line until it lets you leave
