- In this episode of This is Africa Outdoors we fish an estuary in the East London area of the eastern cape and manage to catch a few decent Kob and Grunter. Fishing off a small boat.

Gonubie is a Xhosa word for bramble. i grew up and lived in Gonubie for over 21 years. That river has some monster fish in it.

That's the Kei River ? Damn I used live and fish on the banks for 15years...At a place called Kei Mouth... Brilliant....it's the most beautiful place in the whole of Africa...hah.
No this is not the Kei river, but I have heard lots about it and hope to fish it one day! It sounds amazing!
