This week on Sunday Longplay, F-Zero 99 turned a whole year old last week, so I'm showing off a ROM hack that demonstrates other things Nintendo could do with the original 15 tracks for future content going forward. Welcome to F-Zero: Respect The Original!
This hack is named as such because though it does create new tracks, it does so by paying respect to the original 15 tracks (as well as the Satellaview and in one case Maximum Velocity tracks). Nintendo made their own Mirror versions of the OG tracks with new hazards for F-Zero 99, now how about Reverse, Partial Mod, and Full-League Fusion versions?

The only tracks missing here are the Reverse BS-1 League and Reverse BS-2 League.
Too bad it's not possible for Reverse/Mirror Tracks due to F-Zero 99's unique hazard types not being possible on SNES hardware.

I wouldn't discount ROM hackers on this. Look at all the out of game mechanics they've imported into SMW ROM hacks.
