If she’d cheated Mercy would have blown a fuse at her for what she’s doing letting him believe he’s the father, that’s one thing Mercy’s got standards regarding when it comes to children that’s why she’s always been honest in the past when she has been pregnant, she’s admitted when she doesn’t know who the father is. Something has been off with her since the first episode of the time jump.

The way Leela is behaving and talking is pointing towards her being SA. The rumor about it has been going on for weeks now and it sounds like someone who works for the show leaked this information. If Abe was the father there is no way she would want him anyway near her especially becoming her birthing partner because her husband wasn’t there. That’s one thing Mercy won’t stand for when it comes to children if someone she knows cheated, got pregnant and then tries to let some other guy believe he’s the father and that’s because she grew up not knowing who her father was until she became an adult which we saw play out years ago when he showed up out the blue. Her mom let her and Jac believe that some other guy was their bio father and both of them didn’t speak to their mom for months because of it and they never forgave her for it still to this day. So under normal circumstances I agree with you she would be, but in this case right now she’s not. She’s supporting her friend while also trying to get her friend to reveal the truth to her husband, because she’s right if he finds out from someone else not only is he going to think his wife cheated on him, he’ll never forgive her for what she’s done and that will be two children he’s lost with her.
