A real case of being careful what you wish for
I am convinced I watched these episodes aired in order of quality, because I swear I saw most - if not all - of Season 1 AFTER most of Season 2. Because I SWEAR I remember things visually improving.
FoxKids, is that what you did? Did you air the seasons in reverse because of the drop in quality? I can believe that!
The show is literally destroying his mind…. And I don’t blame him! This show has a capacity to do that. 😅

At the very least they kept King K. Rool as charming as ever, even with the animation downgrade.
At least season 1 had some charm despite the ugly animation. How & why is it worse season 2?
this show went from charmingly jank with half decent lighting/textures and silly bad animations, to someone went hog fcuking wild with the polish tool on the CGI cleanup of a knockoff Rankin Bass claymation production.
you know the show done goofed when it moves from enjoyably so-bad-it's-good territory to uncomfortably ~sMoOtH~ nightmare fuel 😢

It was a good while ago, probably beyond where the VODs are stored. The whole Donkey Kong series is on UA-cam tho.
This shows CGI animation has gotten so bad. It’s making Beast wars look like the CGI for Avatar.
Listen. This episode gave one of the best songs of the show...I think the downgrade in quality was worth it.
