Your videos are kind of like therapy for me lately. I’ve been struggling with my mental health and watching your videos is kind of like my happy/safe space. Hope that makes sense 😅 Anyways, thank you for all you do 💜
Sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment, I too have those struggles and I totally understand what you mean about the safe space thing. Sometimes your brain just can't cope with anything majorly intricate or something you have to really concentrate on because it's so tired from fighting itself. Creative outlets can be so helpful to mental health but when it gets bad sometimes you just don't have the energy spoons to do the creating yourself. These videos allow you to still have that creative mindset but also allow you to just zone out a bit and look at something pretty being created. My brother-in-law (a therapist) calls it "chewing gum for the brain" which I love because when you're chewing gum you're not thinking about chewing gum it's autopilot stuff, but you still get the benefits of the gum. It's the same with those guilty pleasure tv shows that are terrible but we love them because it's pure escapism, you don't need your brain in any major way to watch them. If you're like me then they also have something (someone) pretty to look at in them too! 😂 I hope you feel better soon, you're not alone so if you want to chat just message me anytime. 😊
Oh Michelle you are just too sweet!! Im so glad you liked all the stuff i sent me and your friend would get along great i love gnomes too 😂 and the paper is sold on colourartes website as well and from what im hearing shes going to be taking orders till the end of the month then she will continue to sell "some" of the products herself but i hand painted those with primary elements mixed in clear water based poly then simply shrunk them with my big heat gun they are super simple to make ill have to do a video on them and in resin they are fabulous but you're right that texture does make it a bit complicated but i knew youd be up for the challenge! Cant wait to see you use them!! ❤❤❤ I love everything you made as always!! That clock ⏰ is incredible!! So are those ornaments you did a great job on that mold!! ❤❤❤
Everything is so beautiful, and from what I'm seeing I can see 2024 plain as day ✨ I love your lines on the clock ⏰❤️ love liquid silver 🫂💗 Have a blessed day, thanks for sharing this with us 🫂💖
Love everything you did today! 🧡Your videos are always so helpful and informative. Those shells are actually dyed mother of pearl. Abalone shells are much darker and have a rainbow effect that kind of reminds me of the rainbows of spilled oil, whereas mother of pearl is naturally white to beige in color & is commonly dyed for use in crafts. That new mold you got is of an aquatic amphibian called an Axolotl (pronounced ak-suh-la-tul), named after Xolotl, the Aztec god of fire and lightning. They are unlike other amphibians because they don't live both in water & on land, like frogs, but instead they spend their entire lives in the water, even though they do have lungs and can breathe air if they want to. In the wild, they are only found in Mexico City, but they are critically endangered. It's a good thing they are really cute with their feathery gills and smiling faces, otherwise not so many people would be interested in saving them. A lot of people keep them as pets in fish tanks. However, they will probably end up going extinct anyways due to inbreeding - it'll just take longer for them to go extinct, which will be a shame as they are very important in scientific and medical research, such as cancer & tissue/organ regeneration.
Hello Ms. Michelle, can you make inlays with your X-Tool machine? I have a YT friend whose oldest son has an Axolotl. He has had it for about 3 years. Love the projects you did!! TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
No, that is not something I can make inlays with. Usually you would make inlays with plastic chocolate molds so the silicone can come out of it. And that is such a cool pet!!!
Very pretty ornaments Michelle! Love, love the clock. You can do so much with abalone shells... so pretty! Of course, awesome extras! God's blessings! 😇❤
❤❤❤ everything just came out beautiful. I love the clocks you make and with that shell in it it’s just perfect. And of course the Christmas ornaments they came out beautiful.😊😊😊
The silver and blue ornaments are BEAUTIFUL! My favorite color!! Love the abalone shells. For that sea life mold, perhaps get the hole makers from Little Windows and use that to make the holes and then put the shells as close to the hole maker as you can? They have a tiny suction cup on the bottom to stick on the mold and they have a keychain size hole maker in the box. It's worth it!
I love how the abalone shells look in both the clock and ornaments. Absolutely gorgeous! I need to order that clock mold. I purchased one but not as nice or versatile as the one that you used. Have a wonderful day.
AAbsolutelybeautiful..I love the look of the shells...I will have to get some and try it in something...great jon as always...learning a lot...I truly appreciate seeing your creativity.?thank you...God bless
Hey Michelle. Look up Little-Windows. They sell silicone inserts with a suction cup to fit in the molds without holes. The inserts create a hole. Works perfectly.
If I were grading this I would have to figure out a way to give you more than 100%. Sometimes less is more and in this case, anything more would have been too much. These are all perfect. Thank you for sharing.
I want to suggest putting those shells in the water ripple starfish mold. I think that would look cool. Axolotl - Ax oh lot ol. 😊 the mold you were questioning how to pronounce. I have one to make too. My husband loves those little creatures as they are so cute. I love those shells in resin as well. Always looks beautiful. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
I actually commented this same thing on a previous video and a lady responded saying she was one of the founders of the company and it was definitely the last day of sale on Halloween.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1. Ok..got the lowdown on this today. Leslie is closing her Two physical locations in Fresno CA. She wants to be more involved in the teaching side of art. She is not shutting down the website and will continue selling the favorites like her interference micas. They are better than anything else on the market. If she does decide to shut the online side down, I hope she sells the business so we can keep getting the colour arte stuff 😊
Michelle, it's called an Axolotl...pronounced AX-O-LOT-UL. And they are amphibians...not reptiles. They are salamanders!! Hope that helps!! They are so cute...and very expensive, in real life. 💜🥰💜
The Axolotl is an amphibian that does not mature into the full adult form. It's a salamander. It's only found in the wild in 3 lakes near Mexico City. Supposedly, Quetzalcoatl, the feathery serpent god of the Aztecs had a twin, Axolotl. Axolotl was a tricky form shifter that got on the wrong side of his brother. Quetzalcoatl in his anger put a spell on Axolotl and he got stuck in this form. The Aztec language, Nahuatl, pronounces X like sh. So if you're a purist, it should be pronounced Ash' o - lotl. Most people aren't purists, though.
Hi Michelle, I’m sure that must have been disappointing to keep cracking the pieces. I knew that there would be a way of doing it. So I Googled it & you can, but it’s not how I thought it would be. I also feel that the instructions would be better for you to look them up yourself. I asked “how to drill through shell in resin without cracking it” it gave a perfect step by step instructions. So if you do decide to give it a try. Please let me know if & how it worked out? These pieces came out amazing. Loving those blue shells.😍 Have a blessed day too.🙏💗🤗
Michelle I received a mold with multiple Christmas tags, they’re not real big can you suggest a way to fill in the details like the wording? Would I rub like mica over the whole thing and then try to wipe it off? I made a couple but I can’t tell what’s on them. It’s very hard to even see to paint them after the fact. Thank you in advance.
Sometimes I use gel nail polish and a tiny brush, clean up and cure in UV light. Thin type UV resin can work too. Needs a transparent mold for it to work. Trust me on that point...🙄😏
When you use Primary Elements pigments from Color Arte for use in resin you will need to dissolve or make a paste with a fluid first. If you can order some Vivid Arte Fluid before it sells out get that because it only takes a few drops. The reason this matters is because the pigments were designed to be water based and therefore will not dissolve in a solvent (resin). There are some pigments that will dissolve but it becomes much more difficult in darker colors that have black, red, brown, etc. Any Bling It pigment will work in resin. not the Rezin Arte was designed to be used in resin so no adjustments would be needed. Everything else should be dissolved first 1/2 teaspoon per ounce.
Why are you cursing? LOL everyone doesn't like the bling, SMH everything came out beautiful as always, and I always wanted to see how you did your tape method, glad I seen this. and the fish looked like it already had an eye.

I just ordered a bunch of Bling It colored moon rocks from colour art yesterday. Didn't look like it was going out of business? Love the clock!
I didn’t think they looked like they were going out of business either. Nothing on the website about it at all.
As far as I know the 31st is the last day.

Thank you so much!😊

Interesting 🧐
Everything is absolutely beautiful…I would love to see an elk/deer out oft the shells. That would have been beautiful 😊
That’s a good idea!!

I have a tile drill bit you can buy and do under cold water?
Hi, do you reuse your plastic cups? If so how do you clean them? Thanks..
Yes sometimes, just wipe the resin out with a paper then with alcohol and a paper towel.
I used the moon rocks in a turtle.
❤👌🏻🤩
I think heat shrunk material is tyvek struck with a heat tool. Looks like that's what it is.
You mentioned Florida in one of your videos and I’m curious as to the general location
I’m from Davenport about 5 miles from Posner Park!
I’m in Sarasota county on the Gulf.
The reptile is axe-a-lot-uhl.
Michelle, does the silver pen you use rub off when you clean this.
Not immediately, it would take some work or alcohol to get it off.
