in my opinion the story was below what i was expecting when it came to quality, characters and plot. I expected a bit more from this game because the first game was a solid first go at a spider-man project and the miles morales game in many ways was even better so i was expecting the proper sequel to blow me out of the water but no it didn't. i'm also not one of those people that loved it on launch and then started to dislike it, i've always known what i like about the games i play and seeing how this game was executed confirms that i'm not a miniroty when i was displeased by being given mediocrity presented as genius. Game wasn't terrible and there is nothing they can't fix but i think they need to take their characters s lot more seriously and actually decide where they want these characters to go, how the gameplay can be used to better tell the story and continue enhancing the spider-man fantacy. i highly suspect the next game will be much like this one becuase i don't think insomiac will back down from the philosophies they used to make this game.

i agree story wasn’t as prolific as it could’ve been but the franchise still has potential to be the best comic book game if they lock in
