I have closed my eyes, then I hear a familiar street lingo. Who is this foreigner speaking a foreign dialect, "dad that is Sheng by the Kenyan rapper." Oh so different then what we spoken in my gangster ancients days in the alleyways of River Road. Sheng full of StreetTalk wisdom (life Force). Still eyes closed I am sitting down on lush green Savannah grass with acacia trees all around, at a distance I see a group sitting down under a Baobao Tree. In the wind the Sheng melodies wash over me, I sit up for my ears get a blast of Life Force Wisdom. It is then I notice the Rapper sitting under the Baobao Tree on a Three Legs Stool befitting his station as Wiseman beyond his years. In amazement with eyes opened I speak a blessing upon your life. God has has plant a Baobao Tree in my back yard Sam The Rapper/Brother/Messenger/Watchman. " Wisdom is like a Baobao Tree, no one individual can embrace it" Akan Proverb

About one year into my caregiving job (during corona) I lost my patient who was almost 90. It was my first time experiencing death at work. This was July 2020 when he died. Nilikua naenda 6am to wake him up, bathe him and feed him. I wasn't supposed to do his laundry or clean his toilet but I used to. Alikua in a facility so the staff was to do all that. I did that EVERYDAY Mon-Sun for 4 hours for a period of 9 months before he died. It was too sad when he died. His daughter asked me what I wanted to do in life. Told her nursing. Can u imagine she gave me ENOUGH money for the RN program. Yeah u can guess how much that was. The family is WHITE. 4 years later I'm an RN. Just graduated yesterday. So yes, there are very good white people out here.

    Webaale nnyo Ssebo!!!
They are indeed our Brothers.....I recall @ my local golf club Mlami was tagging we blacks(Africans) as bum scratchers because our handicap was better than his saying no one plays golf in Africa but imagine it's our fellow Mlami play buddies who called him out and got him expelled from the club house because they enjoyed our game, bunter and chicken choma sessions.
They had never enjoyed authentic chicken choma as we make it.
Keep them educative and informative videos.

@@TheMrgoodmannersThere have always been problems in this community, whether external or internal. I took history classes in college & always attended black churches & student clubs & meetings, as well reading books. Ubaguzi wa rangi also plays a big role in terms of chances, employment, demotivation and disilliusionment. It's complicated 😂

Umenena kapsaa. Mablack wahuko ni wetu, lakini saa zingine wako different sana, hata wana-tushangaza 🤨. I feel sorry for them coz they're the only ethnic group in the world wale hawawezi ku-trace ushago directly huku Africa. Yaani kujua great grandad alikuwa nani kutoka village gani. That's my unresearched conclusion. This trauma of not belonging or not being rooted causes a deep-rooted traumatic consciousness. Problems zinaanza hapo. Halafu mzunye anawaambia warudi kwao Africa. Angaa sisi tunaeza rudi kwa mtaa maze 😂. It's actually very sad for them 😭. Niliishi huko miaka mingi & I learned 2B very proud of being a Kenyan & a black African 😇😇😇
