Never got to fly again for many decades. Then a developer made an air park down the road from my farm. Got to fly a LOT of different planes. The best was a owner hand built custom kit plane. I helped the Desert Storm Wart Hog pilot assemble.......mainly deburring rivet holes. LOL! That was a very maneuverable, but sensitive AF plane. In his hands, it was simply amazing. Garrett, just keep in mind when you are doing a max performance take off like that where by you are hanging off the prop, your margin for error is very very small if your engine either coughs or quits completely. Your time available to push that nose down to prevent a wing stall is extremely limited. Flying is fun but it is a hard mistress if not paid due respect and margin for error.

Im only 29 years old, well ill be 30 in 2 days haha. But it is still my dream to get my pilots license one day! Keep up the great drive and content! I hope you and your family are doing well!!!

I get a new Prop this week too. I am so excited you got to experience first gear. These airplanes can do so much in first gear. Life is even more exciting when you can shift to second, or even third.
My new prop has three blades and hydraulics. I get to go from 10.5 pitch to i think I remember the high pitch at something higher than I have power for.
You do good work. I will continue to look forward to your output. I will catch up this fall when I get back from the AK.

Since you like military fly overs, you should paint your Piper up like the WWII Piper L4 Grasshopper which was a light recon aircraft. Now that would be cool AF.
