I think with intentional parting and positioning of the twists, it's definitely a look. Big, long hair like yours can get away with just about anything it's so beautiful.
You inspired me to rock my natural hair braided in on week 3. They started to look rough and I wasn’t ready to redo them so I washed my hair and made soft locks.
@SharatiaBanks I suggest the Cantu Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream. I love to use it for my twists/braids and my hair is left soft with a twist out or braid out. Has great slip too in my opinion. Even the cantu leave in has been good for that too.
My hair is perpetually dry even after deep conditioning and moisturizing. I thought it was just the dry climate and gave up but I might try out the tgin mask since youre always raving about it Also idk if this is too much to say but I appreciate you filming yourself in the shower with hairy pits cause I don't really shave either and seeing you be feminine without needing to be ultra manicured is a balm to my soul ❤
@@AIgeneratedHuman not too much at all! Armpit hair on a woman should be normalized, not scrutinized. If being feminine meant not having hair then we would have been created that way 😬🫶🏾
Love the braids… I think if you know how to accessorize, anything can look good on you… scarfs, bonnets, pendents, etc. My hair gets super dry when I use heats tools also, for it not to dry up, I need to let my hair air dry by 50% or more, and then dry it with low heat and slowly , so the water inside my strands don’t boil up and damage and dry out my hair( that is my theory why it feels dry, am a high porosity with fine strands, if the water within my strands dries up fast, it will boil up and burn my strands from within and I lose lots of moisture and way to fast)
I was so hungry one day and all I could think about was food not realizing I put my spoon in with it. When it started to spark my heart was racing so fast 😅🤣 I'm glad you're safe
Sharatia on a Sunday while I retwist my hair! I tried to plait my hair, but it gave me a headache 😩 I didn't even braid the base tightly (I guess my scalp is more sensitive than I thought lol). Your hair looks healthy. I would pin up the style and definitedly wear out. I prefer braids/plaits to twists to avoid my strands from trying to loc and the ends tangling. My go to is a WNG with extra plant-based gel over very hydrating leave in conditioners to avoid drying and tangles. And Yesssss, water is hyrdrating and needs a sealant to moisturize our strands. Be well.
