@A vicious cycle yeah Thanks! It is a unique name. I used to hate it. It rhymes with a lot of things and people used to take thr piss. Now I like it. I get a lot of compliments on it. Apparently it was a name in an Elvis movie called Love me Tender and my parents liked the name and Voila. I know it's not easy, but I was insulin resistant a day pre diabetic. I lived a very unhealthy lifestyle. I made some drastic lifestyle changes and I am now in better shape than I've ever been and I am 40ish. So it can be done. Kait is a big part of my success. She taught me things I had no clue about. She is an angel. All the best of luck.

Wow!! You have a great doctor!! I just learned that insulin resistance comes before pre-diabetes, and then diabetes!! even when I was gestational diabetic. All I was told to do is read the labels. They didn’t make us understand that it’s insulin resistance.
Kait I’m sad that your braces are coming off. I mean I’m obviously very excited and happy for you but I’m sad because you’re one of the only youtubers I know with braces and it kind of normalises having braces for people outside of school so I’ve always appreciated seeing them. Hello Kait. I have incorporated all these items into my diet, the last one being the beef tallow. I incorporated the beef tallow while doing a 90 day lions diet (I had to cut out all but 2 of your items for this). But I do regularly change my low carb diet plans for in either 30,60, or 90 day increments. These range from keto, ketovore, carnivore, and lions diet. Thanks for the information 👍😀👍
I haven't found any beef tallow but the lard i have bought at Kroger has preservatives . But thats what I usually get for high temp cooking. Thanks Kait for the awesome information .
Thanks for the useful information. I use everything on your list except beef tallow in my normal dietary plan but I am still unable to control my insulin resistance. One thing that seems to be missing from your list is avocado oil, which is quite heat stable. I use it for most cooking that is above 300 deg F, stir fries, oven roasted veggies etc.

thank you Kait. After these videos on insulin, could you please make a series on colesterol? In low carb and keto diets usually the HDL is high and doctors are worried. My HDL is double than normal and my doctor wants me to start taking pills

I eat pasture raised eggs with av ocado most mornings. I have trouble with the oily fish. I don't like salmon...too fishy but I do take a supplement. I also bought a can of mackerel to try. Just trying to work up the nerve. Anyone have suggestions on how to prepare it? Do you mix in mayo like with tuna? Not sure what to eat it with. Love your videos Kait! Thanks so much! I refuse to eat eggs unless they are free range. I don't believe in the cruelty of keeping hens in cages, it's barbaric. 🙄
