- 春の宮城観光 花の名所 鹽竈神社の桜/The Shiwahiko Shrine and Shiogama Shrine, located in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture tohoku japan, have two shrines within the same ground, and become the general headquarters of shiogama Shrine throughout the country. In addition, it is also known as a leading flower attraction in Miyagi Prefecture, and in the spring there are about 40 varieties of cherry blossoms centered on Somei Yoshino and Weeping cherry blossoms. About a week after Somei Yoshino is in full bloom, a national designated natural monument "Shiogamazakura" blooms. On Saturdays and Sundays in late April, cherry blossoms, Approach and shrines within the precinct are fantastically lit up.
宮城県塩竈市(塩釜市)にある志波彦神社・鹽竈神社(塩釜神社)は、同一境内に二社が鎮座し、全国にある鹽竈神社の総本社となっています。また、宮城県内でも有数の花の名所としても知られ、春にはソメイヨシノや枝垂れ桜を中心に約40品種の桜が咲き、ソメイヨシノの見頃から約1週間程遅れて、八重咲品種で花弁が35～50片にもなる国指定の天然記念物「鹽竈桜(シオガマザクラ)」が咲き誇ります。ソメイヨシノなどの桜が見頃となる四月下旬の土日には、「しおがまさま神々の花灯り」も開催し、境内の桜や参道、社殿などが幻想的にライトアップされます。

天然記念物の鹽竈桜が咲くまでが、ここの桜の見頃なんですよね。
ソメイヨシノが満開になった時と、夜桜のライトアップ、鹽竈桜が見頃となった時の3回に分けて撮影した映像をまとめています。
だいたい4月の下旬から5月のGWぐらいまで楽しめます。
