ACT II is upon us. i can't believe i got to contribute to the RENAISSANCE era. beyoncé embraced my creativity and my crazy mind. 16 carriages is such an incredible record, and this random little idea came to my head almost immediately. as always, hope y'all enjoy!

This mashup is sublime not only because of how seamlessly you mixed Beyoncé’s 16 Carriages with Alicia Keys’ LYNSMA, but also because of how it perfectly demonstrates the through-line of country music and R&B. BOTH GENRES were created by Black ppl from the story telling & soulfulness of blues music👏🏾

Out of all the mashup of this song, this is the only one that fully works. The emotional vocal delivery matches perfectly with the emotional value of the music.
