A fuel slider or something would be pretty nice. I want to fly and learn the F-80 because I quite enjoy that 8.0 area but with it's fuel load, it's either me being too heavy, or me just never getting back to the base in time and getting crew locked.

Unfortunately, the Hispano cannon is a nightmare, despite having a large supply of ammunition, sometimes I can't shoot anything at all, there are so many seeds that need to be shot into one target. in addition, the missiles fly slowly, very slowly, and cannot keep up with the jets. It's hard to hit anything when you're catching up with your own cannon bullets.
This BR has to be my favorite so far. It's a BR where you can try out dumb stuff and somehow get away with it. Recently I've been enjoying the Il-28Sh with the GSh-23L gunpods and abusing the Bomber Airspawn to grab a few early kills. If any of you have it, give it a try, it's pretty fun.
The redeeming quality of the F84F is the CCRP combined with air spawn that lets you do base bombing missions easily. Wait a sec, I'm feeling like something is very wrong...

i remember my last match on me163, it was on small Vietnam and I had 5 kills (after 2 reloads) and the other Meteor also had 5 kills, I remember struggling to get to outmaneuver it in less than one pass but guy was constantly running away and rearming, i guess him being on 6 mins of fuel after Defyn pointing it out.
Easily the best british jet 8.0-9.0 alongside venom and Canberra. Cause unlike slow-ass-no-thrust vampire, over-the-top-shittily modeled javelin and dogcrap-no-rudder-brick scimitar you are actually able to get defensive and be pretty aggressive with it even in smth like 1v2, 1v3. Sure, swifts and hunter are kinda okay, fireflashes are fun, but if e.g. mig17 gets higher than you (it will) you are basically helpless in those. Yeah, aerodynamic is a bitch for meteor's top speed, but it reaches its 980+ or so pretty easily and has a great climb rate as well. Hispanos are THE inconsistency of war thunders aerial armament, but adens somehow seem worse.

Also DEFYN or someone in chat, please help me, I suffer from a severe case of smooth brain disorder. I struggle a lot in air rb, I usually one get 1-2 kills in props and sometimes one in my F-5C and event mirage (though I have no idea what to do in sustained fights in jet combat, and in jets it’s hard for me to stay aware, especially at 12.3 which the mirage faces most of the time) Today I came to a conclusion in props, I watched DEFYN’s team play guide and I try to focus on that. But I also focus on being the highest as so many people insist, so in most planes I end up side climbing. So in result, my team either destroys the enemy team and I get nothing, or the enemy team destroys mine and I have to deal with a 1v5. So I thought, maybe just climb to like 2-3km, be more aggressive, and learn to deal with enemies with an energy advantage over me. What do you guys think?
Side note: Do you guys think that I should fly all or most fighter props in all tech trees in order to improve? I love war thunder when I do well, and it punishes anyone who does badly, and I really do want to improve. I am trying my best, and in many cases don’t know what mistakes I make or work on. I once watched one of DEFYN’s videos, and he was talking about wanting to improve, and being bored/sad bec he didn’t know how he could further improve. That hit me hard, bec I don’t have the NEED to want to improve, and feel so dreadful because I don’t have the NEED to improve. I want to feel bad when I don’t improve or achieve something. Is that something I can work towards, or are some people like me just destined to be smooth brains?
@@Phage-play time helps you improve, match after match wil result in more experience, especially when you play more than just 1 vehicle. Doing this wrong on perpose and trying to do things right wil teach you a lot. Jets are completely different from props. Some play alike but that isnt the norm. Balancing aggressiveness and passiveness is something that will take time, for example you dont have to be above everyone for all of the match. You can be below someone and still be at an advantage. Especially when you know your vehicles and their limitations. Starting more aggressively is definitely something you can do for now. Making sure you keep track of players around you and dont tunnel vision on a single guy is very important.
Who needs Fuel wheres the Solar powered Meteor I like this one and the Israel one I jus finished spading and cant say there's any complaints except that long nose one looks ugly AF. Those La-200 are pretty nasty to fight sometimes when you get down tier game which is like 1 in a million chance. The F-84F gets that wonderful air spawn though 😋
I do min fuel in basically everything anymore. The match is won in the first 5-7 minutes anyways. Playing the long game isn't really viable anymore. Ticket bleed combined with a pathetic pussy player base did that in. Maybe 1 out of 20 matches you might find some players that are game and fight it out. But most as soon as you pick off one or two teammates they run straight to the airfield whether they have the ticket lead or not. So much more fun and effective to just go balls deep every match.
The issue with the f84f is that they removed its airspawn. Making it completely useless. However, not the American one. Every single f84f (which are ALL 100% identical) except the US one doesn't have an airspawn. Gaijin knows this already and apparently doesn't wanna do anything about it. American bias pretty much

One of my favorite examples of bad fuel options has to be the Z-10. Either you take minimum load of 1 hr 14 min or you take max load with 4 hr 8 min 😂
