I’m an alcoholic in recovery. Life is so amazing without alcohol. I seriously think you’d love an AF life honey. Alcohol is a depressant, it kills all the cells in your body, you’re too bright and happy of a human to have alcohol bring you down. I’m proud of you for ditching alcohol and i hope this at least gave you a glimpse of what sober can feel like. I personally had to admit I was an alcoholic, not everyone likes that but it empowered me. An alcoholic can look like many things and has many faces not just homeless people, regular folks too. Wishing you so much success🙏
Please consider not drinking. Alcoholism will tell you “you can have it on occasion” but that just isn’t the case. Please listen to your body. You will fall back into the same cycle once you let it back in. Life is better without it
I really hope she stays away from alcohol period. If you have an addictive personality your body will not be able to have only on occasion. What will happen is that you will say I'll just have a drink, then you won't stop. Alcoholism is real and it will kill you. I watched my mother in law die from cirrohosis. Please please don't go back to alcohol. I also agree with one other comment that wasn't water intoxication that was alcohol withdrawal.
@@feliciasisk494I totally agree. She was having withdrawals. I recognize the symptoms a mile away lol
Girl what is the point of this comment
Perfect way to put it 🖤💜
I’m so proud of you for finishing this. It was awesome watching you on this journey and I hope you keep up with some of these habits that are obviously making you happier and healthier!
You can 100000% see a difference and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! You look great and have inspired me to try it. 💕
A lot of the cuties would blindly defend her in the comments if anyone suggested she might have an alcohol/food problem. We could all see it, it was so obvious. Now she’s finally admitting it herself. It’s sad some of the cuties couldn’t see this.
I agree! Although some people went about it quite rudely, I think viewers helped hold her accountable to this. At the same time, I think no one could make her change until she realized it herself. I’m so proud of her for recognizing this in herself and making a change
@@yoitzmo16 yeah. Hope she sticks to it. It’s hard to quit an addiction on your own. You’re right that it’s ultimately up to her.
😮you haters have no life lol
@@therealsparklepoop very insightful contribution to the conversation. Thank you for sharing that anecdote.
@@therealsparklepoop this isn’t hate?? I’m just offering insight into what she went through. It’s the transtheoretical change model. People could comment about her drinking habits all they want but if she remains in the pre contemplation stage, she will never recognize the need to change. Although people were being hateful towards her drinking and leaving rude comments, it probably helped her move to the contemplation and action stages. I’m saying I’m happy she recognized it and followed through with her plan to change. My comment is acknowledging the theoretical side of things.
I really hope the biggest take away from this challenge for yourself is a changed relationship with alcohol. All alcohol is alcohol but there's a large difference between taking shots and enjoying a glass of wine with dinner. A glass of wine is savoured, and consumed over a length of time; a shot is instant and fleeting.
As someone who has lived with a loved one who deals with alcohol reliance, it's a hard journey to be sober. Most people with reliance issues cannot responsibly enjoy one drink, it's drink to get drunk or nothing. Please be mindful of this if you do decide to continue to drink after this. I would STRONGLY encourage you to regularly see a therapist during this time of change in your life.
Agreed. It’s unlikely she can go form that level of dependence to enjoying a drink occasionally without any precessional help in the span on one month. Yes it does happen, but those are outliers.
The thing is she doesn't enjoy drinking at all - she likes the feeling. That's why she just throws back shots until she's drunk.. she would never be one to savor wine..
Proud of you to finally admit the drinking problem people have pointed out for years
I honestly hope you don’t slip back to it. And if you do get the professional help that’s needed.
Do you have to be so blatantly rude about it? Did that make you feel better about yourself Meghan? 🥺
That was unnecessary..
@@odarosvoldaune4508 how? Sincerely? She’s admitted multiple times she has drinking issues. And actually since this last statement from her 4 months ago it’s gotten worse but you know supports like yourself can’t comprehend that and just enable it more buy saying shit like “this was unnecessary, keep doing you queen”
Your queen won’t be her much longer if she keeps going down this slope
This is why people need a purpose , drive , a career. Lazy youtubers make me sad , its not a healthy lifestyle. I hope you make big changes in your life . Find your purpose , find a career you can put your heart into .
She’s never been a lazy UA-camr.she’s always been consistent and has a schedule. I’ve been following her since I was 20, I’m 31 now. It was just the alcohol. She’s always been driven. If this is the career she likes, she can continue it.
@AlexisR-in7vc isn't it cool. We can all have opinions and express them, peace, and love.
Look at you. Major changes in all aspects. Mentally ,physically, the whole nine yards. I hope you keep most of this routine. Is a life style change now girl!
What happened to your garage gym?
The saddest part of this reflection and realization is since stopping this challenge you’ve completely gone back to your old ways
Sooooooo incredibly proud of how honest you are with how you were drinking and the lows and just taking accountability for how this has affected your life. Not every day is perfect but the fact that you were able to do this means you are capable of SO MUCH MORE.. i have chills as youre talking. Its amazing to see how clear headed you are and even the way youre talking just speaks volumes on how well this worked out.. YOU DID THATTTTT. Good for you i hope you stick with your healthy journey ❤
alcoholism can be a hard thing to admit to, however i think a lot of people who have the same habits as you just go on as if that's just how adult life is but... you are an addict.
Congratulations, Sam! It takes incredible perseverance and focus to complete this challenge. You should be proud of yourself!
It is always so wonderful to see you happy❤
I literally can’t express how happy I am for you girl🤞🏻😍 congratulations girl that’s awesome 👏
I am so proud of you girl! We could see that you were effected mentally, spiritually and physically. You are glowing, clear and I LOVE the content you’re producing now, keep it up you are doing so amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Holy crap thank you so much for telling us about the dangers of water toxicity!! Like my heart was pounding as you were telling us about that!! Glad your okay girl! Btw SOOO proud of you !!
You look amazing!! So proud of you for being so vulnerable with us and sticking to it! 💖
Please be aware of alcohol withdrawal syndrome, which can be fatal. When one wishes to stop drinking alcohol after a sustained period of alcohol misuse, one shouldn’t go cold-turkey and should instead cut down the units of alcohol slowly, say on the span of a week or two, until they reach zero units. Alcohol withdrawal symptoms typically include tremors, confusion, anxiety, headache, upset stomach or nausea. In severe cases (typically where there was alcohol dependence for years), it can also lead to seizures, severe agitation, fever and psychosis. In such cases, it is very important to attend A&E! Symptoms usually peak 48hrs after the last drink.
Well done Sam, I wish you continued success!! ❤
You look great always!!!! Getting healthy for yourself is awesome.
Congratulations on doing this! It’s so inspiring to me. I am definitely thinking about doing this at least the 30 days like you did, may be more realistic for me! I want to make sure I have everything I need and do the research before just jumping into this as you said so this helped out so much understanding it more and about the water thing , I also did get sick if I drank too much water that’d it’s made me kinda nervous to drink any but now I know why. So thanks so much girl! Your amazing , keep doin you! And don’t let these haters bring you down or make you feel any type of way the ones that know, know.!🩷🥰🌺🔥👑🎡🌸🎈❤️🎉
Watching this, I am so freaking proud of you! You can see how happy you are and proud of yourself and that’s all that matters. We are so proud of you ❤
Perfect timing! On weekends I like to watch, I went and watched your recipe videos...because I did not see a new vid. lol. Then clicked home screen and bam, the health and fitness vid we all been waiting for. ;) LOVE XOXO L . tHANK yOU
Love that you got new opportunities & are feeling so accomplished with your socials since this challenge!! Thanks for letting us know the dangers with the water as well! It's good to show everything not just the good stuff 😊
You motivated me Sam, you helped me quit some bad habits and ivr noticed a difference too! You look incredible and a lot happier
You can see the difference right away! You look amazing 🫶
I’m so proud of you Samantha!! I know you worked hard for this and you could 100% tell! You have always been beautiful but girl you are glowing !!
Great job! So happy for you, keep up the good work. You've always been such a positive person and I love watching your videos.
Samantha, I am so incredibly proud of you. This was such a amazing journey to watch and the results were so significant. What i highly recommend is trying to keep some of the habits that were easier going. This was really working for you not just physically but mentally. You seemed so much happier and more motivated. Try to keep some of this going!
Please take something from this and keep aspects of this in your life it's clearly done great things for u , I'm so proud of you ❤
The water intoxication part was scary to hear! That is why I hate the definitely NOT one size fits all Diet programs. It should not be a a gallon of water for every person. You’re a small person!
You killed this girl!! I loved this video 🥰🩷
SO happy for you! Continure this journey and keep up the good habits! It's not about looking good it's about your LIFE. how long you'll live, your quality of life, etc...
Congrats on doing this! I hope you can keep it up. I love seeing you do good 😊
This is so awesome! Soooo incredibly proud of you!
I think one of the biggest impacts that as viewers we could see, aside from the physical appearance was your upload quantity AND quality! Your old "approach" to youtube seemed like it had come back. Just me? I dunno 😅
No 100% there is a palpable difference in effort, creativity, approach, enthusiasm. It’s hard to describe in words what the old the previous content is lacking but I suppose effort is just something people can sense and chaos/poor mental states can also be perceived through her mannerisms and behaviors.
I’m happy you made that video 😊. I would like if you would show us more the cooking, measuring, workouts, etc in your vlogs ! It would be interesting for us to see, get meal ideas, and just follow you more in your journey to healthier life, rather than only seeing the before/after and then watching you talk about it. 🙂 Congrats for your hard work on getting healthier !
Samantha, I'm so proud of you, this is a great achievement, also very inspiring. You are like a new person. I've loved following you on 30 hard, I've noticed such a shift in your videos. It feels like you actually want to make them and you're enjoying your work. I cant wait to see your future projects. I'm kind of hoping you do vlogtober and vlogmas with this amazing new sence of self. We love you, girl. ❤ P.s your eye makeup is beautiful in this video, the lashes are perfection.
You did such a great job, Samantha! And you look so happy and healthy.

Great job girl!!!💖😌💕🎀
I am happy for you! I’m glad you feel better. I have lost 25 pounds since October. I need to lose another 25 but I’m gonna be able to walk all over soon again. I live in Florida and June-sept it is so hot I can’t walk outside. In October I be doing 5 miles a day again. Again congratulations.
This was quite inspirational
I know, right? I’m so proud of PS.

Sam. Great job for completing the 30 days!
Honestly girl? You look healthy and as a longtime follower im happy for you ❤ you are this Smantha, the happy version.
A year and a week sober here!! ❤you can do it!
Proud of yoouu!! 💕
I don’t get why she needs to plug her nose while she takes a shot if she loves that way of drinking.
Just because you love to drink, doesnt mean we like the taste lol
I guess it means she likes the feeling of it not the taste
I might be wrong but I think she said its because alcohol is gross and shots (while gross) are quicker than mixed drinks
seeing you happy makes me happy love you beautiful girl.
This has been so inspiring to me! I have started my 30 hard today because of you! You look amazing 🤩 Edit to add: i have not drank alcohol in over 3 years and I do not miss it at all. It’s not good for us!!
I started to do the soft version as of a wk ago!!! You motivated me🫶🏼🫶🏼

Explain the part in one of your vlogs in the bts of your new intro where you said you were hungover !!!! 😂
I think she was saying the the intro before this current one she was hungover
weird haterrr x
Im doing this for 4 months in a row and I feel a fashionnova model😊
I couldn't tell in difference in the photos but I do in the videos :o
Yay! So proud of you- you seem calm and look very glowing and alive. I've had a drinking problem also- it get's worse in the summer. It has been really inspirational to see you doing the challenge, it made me want to do better also. If you ever should fall back to your old habits then you have this video to look back at, and remind yourself how powering it felt to be sober. Thank you for everything. Hugs! :)
I might do this, but quit soda. Alcohol isn’t my thing, but Pepsi is.
I think PS did really well and the results are natural, but amazing.
Sam, I’m so sorry you had that scare at the hospital. I think it’s great you gave up alcohol. I promise you that in due time, you’ll realize you don’t need alcohol or another substance in life to be happy or content. Replace that need for it with self care. I haven’t drank since I was 15 years old due to a family member dying of alcoholism. For me personally, doing my own nails and my skincare helps when I’m stressed or having a bad day. Sometimes I’ll have a cookie or fruit for a really bad day lol. Hope that helps ❤
As a full time hate watcher W work piinky
You look awesome!! Good for you❤❤❤
Listen there is no turning back. Once you know you know. Most peoplenwho have become dependent on a substance cant do it as a treat. If you do you are taking a huge risk to slide back into your old pattern of thinking. I remember after getting sober thinking I could control it. Almost like thinking I was different or better than others. (Delusional thinking on my part) Every single time it got worse and worse. I used to have so much anxiety when i lived that life. Now i have 10 years substance free. I found out Im not missing much. You have to mourn the past life. Theres so much better around the corner girl! Anyone who has made it out of that life is a huge accomplishment.
Girl you do a video like this 4 times a year
The difference is amazing your whole shape pure hourglass figure. Only thing I'm gonna say is I'm alcohol dependant. The way you drink is binge drinking and classed as reckless or risky drinking. It's hard to admit you have a problem and only you can decide to get help if you want it and there is support out there. I know first hand how much worse it made my mental health so much so I'm now in rehab. Also got covid I have been here 3 weeks been detoxed and feel so much better. Just taking it one day at a time 🖤💜
🌸🖤🫂✝️ this life saving video is honestly in my top favorite videos ever on this platform!!!!
So glad and grateful you’re okay!🫂 also this video alone if you ask me is like if you posted for a year non-~stop with that i wish UA-cam puched these videos more and gave you the option with in 24hrs after posting to push this video!!! what a blessed video this why i’m still subbed years later love you girly!!! please if you believe could share your favorite bible verses in a video? i think it would be so sweet if not regardless love you ❤❤
