Stoked to try out the twinzer! Had one of Stu’s quads back in the day when they were reborn in the 00’s and got probably the best backside barrel of my life to this day on it! Then took off on the very next wave and snapped it in half 😂
keepin' the flame... remember Will hanging out on "the hill" and in the Swami's parking lot; just asking people to try his twinzer back in the 80's (ish)... shout out to Eberly; nica surf... need a 7'10 for us old (70+) fat guys...
Just got a 6"6x 20"x2.4"twinzer double concave round tail akila twins ames canards, love it, very fast, had a few epic sessions so far...local guy Hilo shaped it,Mark Puen, came out beautiful...
OH right on!!!! I was just talking to the guys at True Ames about the Twinzer and one of the guys were saying big brands are jumping on the popularity of the Twinzer but its really helping the moment for the guys that hand shaped...stoked for everyone!!
Twinzers are great, by far the best versatile fin setup and the flow/fluid feeling of them is amazing! Been riding them the last two years and love em. My analogy is that a certain fighter jets have smaller front wings they clean the air to the rear larger wings which makes an aircraft quicker and more manoeuverable but with control same applies to surfboard. As fast a twin fin but with hold of a tri fin. I have been saying that FireWire should do one. However, they need to be smaller options too…even the smallest one at 6’8 43ltr is far too big for me…ideal for lanky/tall Tayler J…make some smaller options! Similar to the Moe’s and the mini Moe’s models.
Does anyone here know how to get a board shaped by Stu? Surf shop or something? My favorite board was shaped by him, a Rusty Ted Robinson Pro 9'6". I'd love to buy another one or an updated version. Thanks
Love this, thanks for the video guys.
Flow master Stu. Favorite board Rusty quad.

Big fan of twinzers… by far the fastest board I’ve ever rode. Occasionally A little sticky on some turns but the speed factor was unbelievable
I cant wait to get out stock !!

I have a Joey Thomas twinzer and it goes well. To me it’s more of a board that uses the rail.
Board looks way to long..
