omg i`m bouncing between to buy the sony a6100 or the dji mini 2. I`m making shortfilms with my friends and sometimes stop motion and some other stuff with my iphone 11. should i buy a camera and then a drone or the drone first. Is the dji mini 2 actually worth it.
31..... OK..... I don't want to scare you.... but it would be a good idea to perhaps to re-think the lifestyle (running shoes? veggies?).... I am almost 45. I stopped shooting weddings 2 years ago as it killed my right eye... literally....(15 years of wedding photography) HOWEVER everything you said is 100% true. People should listen to this video as this is really how it is.... best wishes.
I know this might sound strange from a nobody who doesn’t even have an established UA-cam channel. But I feel that you are missing out on the biggest opportunity of your disposal. You have over 10 years experience as a wedding photographer. You should be making two videos a week. One video on Wednesdays. You can call it wedding talk Wednesday, and just pick various subjects of being a wedding photographer to educate and give a training course on becoming a better wedding photographer every week. Show them how to edit a wedding photo, show them exactly what to lenses you use and why, etc. etc. Because Wednesdays is the deadliest day of the week for UA-cam and people are looking for fresh content. The other video the second video of the week could be on whatever you want. To fulfill your sponsor videos and what not. And not to seem like I’m being a smart ass but you smile way too much be a little more serious and talk from the heart. I think you’re great I love your content , Just draw from your experience that you have. And that will birth new experiences for you to draw from.
Do as much for experience as you can and take every single opportunity you get. Also try offering your services to a friend for free. That way you get positive references
This is what I am finding. Where do you get clients. No friends want me. All I get is “oh we have already booked a professional” very frustrating. COVID and lockdown with no one wanting to get married is also hitting hard. Any advice on actually getting clients for those of us starting up is greatly revived.
@@TeppoHaapoja I’ve been doing 1-3 a year for ten years. I’m in the “go full time with it?” or diversify doing talking head stuff, too? I hate the idea of doing one style.
First I would start shooting weddings for friends / family, or assistant work for other companies. Get some weddings under your belt so you have a portfolio, and from there, start a business. Make a website, start posting on social media, network with people you know who are getting married. Every wedding you do will be advertisement for your next wedding gig :) Good luck bro!
I create a new company just for the team. That way my main company has the luxury market where we bring the big toys , and my other company, I charge less, hire shooter, hire editor and collect the $$

How do your clients get their photographs? Do you post them on a site where they have access to download them or give them a sd card?
I use an online gallery service
@@TeppoHaapoja Could you recommend one?
That's very inspiring 🤗❤️🙏
