Barefoot Assassin slappin, Gorilla pounding, Mincho on Backup vocals, Saiki working the crowd, and a Pigeon whispering in your ear. Who could ask for more
Expect greatness and multiple videos to come out of the Yokohama concert later this month ! A 17000 seat sell out crowd will ensure it goes down in Band Maid lore !! 📢🤯🔥Thanks so much guys !!
2 3rd party ticket sellers have about 130 tickets in total. Buying those tickets from overseas is tricky though, otherwise they would've been sold out weeks ago.
🤘🏽 I am so happy you guys got around to this one. Top tier in my opinion. The Alice in Chains breakdown into a killer solo…that part could easily have been developed into another song. Kanami is so cool and confident that she gives away riffs like candy. Where do you go from here? If you think the Maids have run out of killer stuff, you would be misled! Of their 120+ song back catalog, there is arguably about 40-50 legitimate hits. That’s how they can shuffle their live show setlist venue to venue. “Onset,” live, is another instrumental, but entirely different from “From Now On.” It’s more proggy and ethereal. “Puzzle,” live, is a wall of power, bombastic and complex, with some of Kanami’s most melodic elements. Or go offroading a bit and hear their 2000’s Pop alternative rock ballad-(sorta) “Daydreaming,” OMV. It’s a setlist standard and it’s the song when everyone breaks out the lighters and phones Or, your mission, if you choose to accept it: “Alone” is their first self-written song. And it is only a few thousand views away from hitting 7 million views. Imagine being the reaction channel that pushes it over the top? You would be legends.
Miku playing her Zemaitis CS24PF Ring Chess on stage. Used, in good condition, lists around $5K on Reverb. Pretty guitar, and It's for playing, not hanging on the wall like a painting. There was a reactor who was sure the crowd was studio-added because "no one kept singing." Outside the fact that their fans know the songs, Saiki directs from the stage. It's out of frame here but she's using her hands to tell the crowd when to sing and when to stop. You'll see it better in fan-cams.There's one from NYC where she gives the "slash across the throat" at the end, and oddly enough everybody STOPS. She is a commanding figure.
I've heard it said that kanami always has Lemmy in the chat somewhere when she is composing, to make sure polyphia don't get a toe in the door. 😂 Even in memorable, which in other hands could be syrup she and Akane drop in four bars of mental breakdown just to remind us there always has to be an edge of anarchy.
Love that Sabbath style breakdown. Actually, I love every moment of this performance. As do you guys, clearly! Great reaction again to THE best band in existence.
This is my #1 song for turning on people to this miraculous band. It's got everything - genres be damned as the jump seamlessly from death metal riffs to fan singalongs to kick butt guitar solos to, well...a lot of other really cool stuff!
I would say there is as much Motorhead, Sex Pistols, Rush and many others in their sound. But Band Maid is unique, let's call it Maidrock.🤘Thanks guys.
Great reaction as always guys. One of their greatest and most underrated songs for sure. It's a shame that the best live version of this (Studio Coast 2017) has seemingly left the reaction channel rotation lately. Zepp is a great show, but the Studio Coast version sounds so much BIGGER than this. If you guys get a hold of this version, I highly recommend that you check it out. 90% of the reactions on UA-cam are to the Studio Coast version.
great reaction..i suggest FREEDOM o.live AKANE drums solo....PLAY...ONSET...REAL EXISTEANCE....MANNERS all o.live and BLOOMING...DAYDREAMING ...INFLUENCER..o video...yes MISA top 3 best rock bass all time
Some people say that the best bassist is Tal Wilkenfeld, the former bassist for Jeff Beck & now Incubus. Maybe, but I'm partial to Misa, Misa, Misa. 😮 😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
This was the fourth Band-Maid song I ever heard, and was the one that tipped me over into hopeless addiction. And yes, MISA is the best rock bassist in the world today. But Lovebites' Fami is hot on her heels and is only 21. It should be glorious watching these two for many years to come.
Check out YOLO: 3 versions, Yolo from "Just Bring It"" and the Yolo EP, the YOLO instrumental on the YOLO EP, and YOLOsiosu on the Band Maiko EP. Also Gion-cho from the Band Maiko EP. AND don;t forget "The Non-fiction Days" from Brand New Maid
Hey guys.....One of the best overlooked song by Band Maid !!!!! BTW. Im a huge BM fan....and Im surprised you haven't checked out Nemophila......this is the only other band that matches the musicianship of BM but in a different genre. They are made up from an all star cast of the top female metal musicians in Japan and absolutely jam !!!! They just launched their 3rd album......but start with. Revive or Hypnosis. I think you will get to enjoy them as much as our BM girls.
Not sure if you've done this but I'll try take me higher live same show maybe but this is the most classic rock song from them it's definitely a banger ...oh wait they all are
Now for a little drummer love...suggest Freedom Live. Then maybe Play Live and Onset instrumental. All available on their YT channel for your listening pleasure
I can't tell but is MISA chugging 16th notes with Akane's kick drum in the opening two choruses? I know she chugs hard with Akane in "Blooming" and it's so badass!!! but just can't tell here with the usual manic video editing of their videos. These girls always bring the heat.
I prefer the Studio Coast version to the Zepp Tokyo. And Fami is probably better than MISA technically, but she over plays. It's just like a lot of guitarists. Those girls from Adious are probably better guitarists than Kanami, but they over play. You have to put them on a leash. But Kanami and MISA not only know what to play but when to play. They serve the songs, and, consequently, have better songs. There are plenty of Japanese girls out there who can show off technically, but they don't have memorably songs that you'll love.
People throw around the word "best" a little too much. I always say that MISA is my "favorite" bass player since it's impossible to prove who the "best" is. 😀
Barefoot Assassin slappin, Gorilla pounding, Mincho on Backup vocals, Saiki working the crowd, and a Pigeon whispering in your ear. Who could ask for more
Yes indeed. Bliss.🤗
I believe that’s called paradise. That or a Band-Maid concert!! 😎
"Moratorium" is, by far< one of my favorite Band Maid songs. The musicianship, the groove, the vocals, the audience participation is incredible.

During this performance of "Moratorium", Saiki's facial expressions are awesome. She is a badass!!!!!

With the final serving approaching all eyes and ears will start focusing on what our maids have in store for us in 2024.
Woo hoo. Jeremy i've served my 4 day ban.🙆♂️ The Yokohama show will be the most impressive the Maids have ever done :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 again? You rebel you.😬
@@jeremydawkins8814 I'm a martyr to the BAND-MAID cause, Jeremy.😔
@@GaryHolloway-810 All Hale Gary.
'best bass player in the world: MISA' - agreed! ♥ her! 'they are a bad azz band' - also agreed! ♥ Band Maid!
And here's an intro that Kanami sometimes did for this song.

Hell Yeah the campaign to make "Moratorium" an official live vid starts here. I would shout "BAND-MAID FOREVER" but forever is too soon :)
That and "Take Me Higher" give some of the second gen Band-Maid more love.
@@DavidMISAMISAMISACook I could definitely go with that. Does that mean we'd get an updated conversation that includes Miku as well?
@rogerchance9074 Lol. I only use champagne to cleanse my palate between beers.😄🍻
I use strawberry milk. Or ginger ale.
Yes. End the MORATORIUM ON MORATORIUM, DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Still great in 2018, when I first heard it live. I've seen Motorhead live, and Band Maid -- on this first U.S. tour show -- was almost as loud!
My favorite battle armor iteration of theirs!
Once you hear Band-Maid, you'll take a Moratorium from all the other bands! 🤣🤘
The caveat being it wouldn't make a difference anyway.😁

Pretty much consensus Maidiac pick for most F***ing Kicka$$ Band-Maid song ever! Make up your mind, and don't dilly dally, Po?
