my gosh that cage looks tiny. degu need a LOT of space to run/move. This is mental torture. Your cage should be a minimum of 120 x 80 x 160 cm with 3 floors.
I agree, kinda dangerous, Degu's have one nasty bite and those kittens are far too slow to react to a vicious bite. I own 3 male degu's and have seen what they do to each other in a dominance fight, imagine what they'd do if they felt threatened by the kitten at any point
That degu did attack AND BITE that black and white kitten TWICE ..you can see that these kitten are scared and whay too young to introduse degu...and even this kind of way..abusive way that isnt safe to kittens and is really stresfull to degu. These little baby are too young to force this and need mom not abuse human owner like this. And if this woman has only one degu..well thats abusive itself cause degus get depressed like rabbits and guinea pigs living alone.Its so scary how many degu owners here really like this abusive video..make me think how poorly they can keep living animals in their home and abuse them thinking this kind of abuse is "cute","funny" and "ok" by putting degu and other baby animals together without healthy and safe way training them to get know each other. Really sad actually...very sad. Some people just shouldnt have animals at all.
