The true ending was so good it leaves you wanting more!! Not many zombie games have a backstory that good and leave you wanting to know what’s gonna happen next! It’s like a TV show season finale with the cliffhanger! I’m still praying for a sequel 🙏🏼

I’m on my 10 nth time playing it. Slow beginning, but terror increases as you go… actually is physically exciting. Other games I’ve played after this bore the hell out of me. Bend Studio folks are genius. Watched the credits all the way to the end after the third time… and discovered there was more to play. Then you can pick specific groups and just go after them. Worth every penny I paid for this game. Come out with #2 .
Total masterpiece. Don’t think there’s a game that can match this. You actually get emotionally involved with the characters. If you haven’t tried this game… get it. Price is 20 bucks in 2023… glitches corrected. Can’t get a better deal anywhere. I’d pay a hundred for Days Gone 2. (Just have a healthy heart and lungs…you may need to actually be physically fit. You’ll be jumping out of your seat and getting the crap scared out of you).
Days Gone is one of the most memorable games ever, everything was great from storyline to gameplay and environmental details and map lore to animations. Looking forward to the sequel.
It's extremely impressive how they were able to put so many enemies on screen during sections like the sawmill horde, and not have the game crash or drop frame rate
Dedicate devs will make things work well and optimized. most game devs now either aren't good enough for have enough time to make it like that. I remember crash bandicoot 1 game was made by devs who uses the PS1's Clibrary as extra ram to cache the textures for that game lol
I put about 70 amazing hours into this unbelievable experience. after watching this I will definitely give it a second play through pretty soon. Such an incredible experience. It’s strange how attached we can get to these main characters. Soo awesome!
I can't wait to be a game designer/ developer 😊 I enjoy this game so much and it's storyline it was very ingaging and showed progression within the characters. I also enjoyed how every gun has levels so you can see the importance on how weaponry is key to killing hordes and motivates players to upgrade and earn bounties same with the bike. I can't wait to see part 2 especially since the freaks are mutating and becoming more advanced like dear O'Brian.
1 way of stopping the hordes involves the MG45/55 and the MS 5.56/IWI Bullpup with all the ammo you can possibly carry..... and a couple of prox mines strategically placed doesn't hurt either.
Just finished playing days gone; the beginning didn’t really seem interesting to me until I got to the middle part of the game and realized the game was interesting much more than I thought. This game is so far one of the best long games I’ve ever played. Was fun to watch the cinematic scenes and every bit and part of the game…really enjoyed!!
We need a sequell !!! There was so much left for it . Deacon and his aliance of camps vs nero , a flashback mission of deek and boozer fighting the hordes in the belknap refuge camp..

Man this game means the world to me. On the edge of the seat gameplay always watchin your back. It’s a fleshed out story that should be felt n seen. Meant to be enjoyed. Exactly how I’d expect to feel if zombies took over n had to fight off over 100 or even a couple is scary.

The thrill of facing the hordes is something i have never felt playing a video game before, dear lord that gets my heart racing everytime ... the satisfaction of seeing your plan succeed in defeating the hordes , or the total dismay when failing 30seconds in because of a bad strategy lol .... this game is quite something. i loved the story, the biiiiiike, and the free world and liberty to advance in the story. I'm ready for a sequel , please ! ❤️

I wish one thing in this game have your biker crew team up with you in this game I always thought it would be cool to see what if mc bikers went up against zombies but how I would of wanted to see is that other mc biker gang go up against yours in a cemacial place somehow one of the biker got in a fight accidentally released the virus and you had to escape form them but the biker club somehow got infected with the virus but still good game waiting on it to done downloading i can't wait to see the full game

Why did this game get so much hate? i played it recently and it kept me hooked and invested the whole way. The world felt like a real place i had to contend with. The way this game keeps you on your toes makes you pay attention and drives you to push ahead and progress. Its wonderfully balanced and immersive.
I think expectations were quite high and this game came out after a series of some other really great open world titles, including RDR2 and MGS5. It may have dropped under the radar slightly, also a bit glitchy upon release as mentioned in the above comment. Also I found it to be a bit slow going at the start and slightly bland, contradictory to what it ends up opening into further in. It's a great game, gripping gameplay.
It was so boring before the finale. Like nothing was really happening. Just running errands for every camp over again, rinse and repeat. I didnt feel any attachment to any character at all. Some were really annoying, constant spam on the radio. Towards the end it got better luckily. The world is great, so much stuff that just make sense, yeah that was a good job. In the end its build well. If there was fewer annoying stuff i would love it.
I love this game. I recently made it through the credits... so much more to do. Awesome game, control, visuals, story. Great job Bend Studios. I paid full price for Days Gone... it was worth not only that, but also worth buying the computer I am playing it on

I sweared couple times because of the bike but rest of the game was fkin AMAZING. I cried a lot and the story hit me through my heart. That was an amazing love story and I want kind of that love irl. Just finished the main story on PC. Almost 100 hours. My jaw was hanging pretty much the entire time. Perfect game. Absolutely perfect. Still more to do!!!
One of the greatest games I ever played, story was amazing. Gameplay was on point. I laughed. I cried and sometimes I was scared shitless I became Deacon St. John After 400 hours and 5 play throughs all I can say is thank you bend studios from the bottom of my heart please make a part 2 I’ll pay whatever price
They did such a good job on this game, there are a few caves and buildings that are not officially listed for a horde but as they cover the freaks during daylight they still congregate there. There are a couple of unlisted hordes in the game that I'm 99% sure are official and I can think of about three different smaller hordes where the freaks just go hide and after a period of time you now have ~30 freaks hiding in the same location. You can generally tell if it's an official horde or an accidental horde as the freaks take several shots to kill but a horde is almost guaranteed one hit equals one kill. If you fight a horde and it take five shots from a decent rifle to take down a freak, he's not from the horde.
This is the Best zombie game to date in my opinion ! It's the closest thing we have to playing as Daryl from the walking dead ! Nothing else compares. Now if they could just keep decon st. John n maybe add norman reedus ( make him look like he does in death stranding but give him his walking dead survivalist look) n make him a new playable character! For a number 2 game . Then with a good story with very lil woke aspects ! Add in some things n make gameplay similar to the last of us 2 . I like the gameplay of that game but the story sucks so bad n the characters suck so bad that I can't do it again. But days gone I have played over over again ! The reason for that is cuz it doesn't force anything down your throat except for outfits. I like it when games give u diff outfits that at least in new game plus u can go back thru with a diff look. U know what tho the only other games I can even stand to play other then this game that is a zombie game is the last of us #1 and , state of decay 2 . I would have liked metal gear survive better if it was more realistic n if the zombies looked more like zombies n not have red crystal looking heads 🤔. I just didn't like that. But days gone is n has been my game of the year for 3 years now

Saddened by cancellation/rejection of Days Gone 2 proposal to Sony. It was a brilliant game and I would have so liked to see how the story continued.

I think this game is very underrated and talked very little about.
The game itself combines everything together and the sound effects are amazing.

bend studio have now good experience in Open world game. they can make a good GTA style game or days gone 2 . tired for waiting GTA 6
