The true ending was so good it leaves you wanting more!! Not many zombie games have a backstory that good and leave you wanting to know what’s gonna happen next! It’s like a TV show season finale with the cliffhanger! I’m still praying for a sequel 🙏🏼

I’m on my 10 nth time playing it. Slow beginning, but terror increases as you go… actually is physically exciting. Other games I’ve played after this bore the hell out of me. Bend Studio folks are genius. Watched the credits all the way to the end after the third time… and discovered there was more to play. Then you can pick specific groups and just go after them. Worth every penny I paid for this game. Come out with #2 .
Total masterpiece. Don’t think there’s a game that can match this. You actually get emotionally involved with the characters. If you haven’t tried this game… get it. Price is 20 bucks in 2023… glitches corrected. Can’t get a better deal anywhere. I’d pay a hundred for Days Gone 2. (Just have a healthy heart and lungs…you may need to actually be physically fit. You’ll be jumping out of your seat and getting the crap scared out of you).
Why did this game get so much hate? i played it recently and it kept me hooked and invested the whole way. The world felt like a real place i had to contend with. The way this game keeps you on your toes makes you pay attention and drives you to push ahead and progress. Its wonderfully balanced and immersive.
I think expectations were quite high and this game came out after a series of some other really great open world titles, including RDR2 and MGS5. It may have dropped under the radar slightly, also a bit glitchy upon release as mentioned in the above comment. Also I found it to be a bit slow going at the start and slightly bland, contradictory to what it ends up opening into further in. It's a great game, gripping gameplay.
It was so boring before the finale. Like nothing was really happening. Just running errands for every camp over again, rinse and repeat. I didnt feel any attachment to any character at all. Some were really annoying, constant spam on the radio. Towards the end it got better luckily. The world is great, so much stuff that just make sense, yeah that was a good job. In the end its build well. If there was fewer annoying stuff i would love it.
Days Gone is one of the most memorable games ever, everything was great from storyline to gameplay and environmental details and map lore to animations. Looking forward to the sequel.
Just finished the main story on PC. Almost 100 hours. My jaw was hanging pretty much the entire time. Perfect game. Absolutely perfect. Still more to do!!!

I put about 70 amazing hours into this unbelievable experience. after watching this I will definitely give it a second play through pretty soon. Such an incredible experience. It’s strange how attached we can get to these main characters. Soo awesome!

Dedicate devs will make things work well and optimized. most game devs now either aren't good enough for have enough time to make it like that. I remember crash bandicoot 1 game was made by devs who uses the PS1's Clibrary as extra ram to cache the textures for that game lol
Days Gone is a true gem in the gaming world. The dedication and hard work from the developers are absolutely incredible. I have never experienced such a blend of fun, thrill and horror during a game! The visuals, the atmosphere, the soundtrack, the storyline, everything is just perfect and makes this game an experience you will never forget. I wish there could be a sequel to it!
They did such a good job on this game, there are a few caves and buildings that are not officially listed for a horde but as they cover the freaks during daylight they still congregate there. There are a couple of unlisted hordes in the game that I'm 99% sure are official and I can think of about three different smaller hordes where the freaks just go hide and after a period of time you now have ~30 freaks hiding in the same location. You can generally tell if it's an official horde or an accidental horde as the freaks take several shots to kill but a horde is almost guaranteed one hit equals one kill. If you fight a horde and it take five shots from a decent rifle to take down a freak, he's not from the horde.
This game is a master piece and better than some movies tha soryline is wonderful We can feel the passion in the team who created this beautiful game , music are incredible
I can't wait to be a game designer/ developer 😊 I enjoy this game so much and it's storyline it was very ingaging and showed progression within the characters. I also enjoyed how every gun has levels so you can see the importance on how weaponry is key to killing hordes and motivates players to upgrade and earn bounties same with the bike. I can't wait to see part 2 especially since the freaks are mutating and becoming more advanced like dear O'Brian.
I have never played a game like Days Gone before and I've been gaming a long time. I have now done 7 playthroughs and I am always trying new ways to take out camps, and take on the hordes. I love this game and I really wish a sequel would be made. I, and the rest of the Days Gone community want it!

I recently just finished this game last night on my PC. I haven't touched video games in about two years and thought it was a wonderful reintroduction to one of my favorite pastimes. Days Gone is not perfect, but it's not as bad as the critics make it out to be. Zombie games have always held a special place in my heart and so will Days Gone.

1 way of stopping the hordes involves the MG45/55 and the MS 5.56/IWI Bullpup with all the ammo you can possibly carry..... and a couple of prox mines strategically placed doesn't hurt either.

This is game is a masterpiece. I just found out about it 2 months ago and I just finished the game and the freakers still scares me playing this game. The audio always freaks me out lol and still playing it. Cant wait for Days Gone 2. Those infected wolves always scares me everytime makes me jump all the time and I crash. The auto shotgun is my favorite to dominate.
It's a fucking outright crime that this got reviewed so poorly. I'm honestly quite frustrated with myself for leaving this game for so long. What an experience. That horde feeling alone makes this game feel so much more than any other zombie game out there. It's about those moments where you're just barely prepared to take one on. They're sat on the layout of an area you occupy for periods of the game and them being there is menacing but exciting at the same time. I can remember seeing my first, and by god I freaked as I turned round to investigate that noise and realised just how close I was to a number I simply wasn't ready to handle. I can remember coming back to that Horde and delivering on one of my favourite moments in my time gaming. It's been some time since a game has managed that for me and to me that speaks volumes. It needs a sequel.

Saddened by cancellation/rejection of Days Gone 2 proposal to Sony. It was a brilliant game and I would have so liked to see how the story continued.

Played it on PS4, then PS5, then Steam Deck, then Rog Ally and just now Legion Go. Never get bored of it, especially Saw Mill !
