I would like to see more of the crew, Mom, Dad, Cody, and Fred( truck driver).
John is the truck driver. But i’ll take note of that thanks!
Great job driving the tractor and grain cart Cody
Yall need to keep Cody around. Great hand, brings ya lunch, watches your 6, unplugged your chopper, drags fuel hoses. He is a keeper!
For the poll I say second camera to put on another piece of equipment.
Keep cutting!!!
Cody will have a job here for as long as he wants! Definitely a great hand!
Thanks for the great videos. I 100% agree with the previous comment about possibly adding more views and comments from the rest of the crew. You once mentioned you might try to get a video with your dad where he tells the story of how your company came about. As it pertains to you, mentioned you were in college. Can you share with us where you go to school and what is your major? How do you fit school into your work schedule? You once mentioned your sister was going to drive one of the trucks when you were relocating the fleet of equipment you have. Does your sister travel with you or does she stay in Texas and keep an eye of the home front? Thanks again.
Hayden i really love watching you and your best friend together and it would be nice to get some other camera shots and other members of the crew thanks for taking us along
We just finished weedy kansas wheat! Heading to south dakota hopefully better wheat! Good luck with kansas.
We will be right behind y’all shortly!
This is the 2nd time I have watched you harvesting. Brought back great memories. I was raised in Oshkosh, NE. Went with a local farmer that had 4 John Deere 95’s. We started in Buffalo, OK, Bucklin, KS, Burlington, CO & home to Oshkosh. Last stop was in Pine Bluffs, WY. I went 6 summers. What an unbelievable experience! Taught me to work. Thank you for sharing.
Neat to watch when all the crew is just cutting wheat, loading the cart and the trucks. Every thing is working in motion. Just getting it done. Great effort!
Sharing different perspectives from the rest of the crew works as long as they want to participate.
Great video Hayden
I know chopper plugging is a challenge, but thank God it's not the rotor plugging. The 8820 JD combines years ago would plug up right behind the cylinder with weeds. It was so bad some guys would go in from behind all the way up to the cylinder with a small chain saw an cut the weeds out. I personally crawled up in there with a pliers and pulled one weed out at a time. This was in soybeans.
Sounds terrible. I am very glad we have not had that happen.
a drone for sure possible more camaras for sure need a john cam keep a eye on that fellow
I would enjoy seeing the rest of the crew also.
I have finished watching the previous video now, and now it was found in the notifications, this video seven minutes ago. You have a long time and a short time for me. This is strange😂😂, but it is fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your daily life with us.👌🏻⭐️
Amazing video. thank you Hayden and fimaly
Nice square new knives in the chopper? Tried running with stationary knives out or halfway out? Glad I live in MN , usually can wait and let weedy soybeans freeze.
We had horrible weed issues in our wheat here in sw ks. We just finished yesterday. Even after spraying them they were a challenge. But the claas lexion 8700tt never plugged the chopper hehe 😁😁😁
I have never been around a Claas so I can’t really say much lol. Congrats on finishing tho!
There has to be a mechanical solution for the chopper filling up with weeds, maybe talk to a master technician, windowing isn't feasible in your world with big acres. I would call a master John Deere mechanic. You all can't wait for them to freeze off like we do up here. John T.
Not sure what you mean. The chopper has a high and low speed and it is in high. When you’re taking in 95% weeds it simply plugs up. Windrowing is the best and only option to get this job done in a timely manner. You’re are right we do not have time to sit around and wait for it to freeze we have other places to be. These combines are not designed to run this many weeds in at a time as a John Deer mechanic would most likely not know what to do.
Get both, different perspective, and variety is the name of the game, and then you can alternate between the two.
pre harvest roundup on the weeds
I would really suggest going live on UA-cam from your combine
Maybe
I have never seen dust come off the grain cart's tires it has to be really dry
Man that wheat was weedy. That wont fare well at the elevator
How the crop turning out in Kansas
Drone 👍
What app do you use for grain cart and combine levels?
On an average day how many acres can you harvest with two combines?
We didn’t have weeds like that in central Kansas where I live. They were able to spray the weeds here. The wheat harvest went pretty smoothly. I feel sorry for you guys.
Is there a reason to put the unloading auger directly on top of the second tubing for the canvas top? A farmer told me not to do that because it causes more splits an grain damage
Everyone has their own opinion on things but I would disagree with him.
Drone 👏
Another camera please
I don’t know why you don’t have a nice blanket for that doggie lay on. He needs a blanket.
He gets too hot
BOTH!! Lol
Hayden do u know why it’s so weedy there in Kansas? Do they have a different spraying practice or is there a weed in Kansas that just doesn’t die from spray? Bc we have completely clean wheat feilds in Saskatchewan we’re I farm
I’m not too sure we just cut the wheat
Drought followed by a lot of rain. Short crop and weeds came in late.
Not much weed problems in central Kansas.
@@colingeorgeh odd yea we have nothing in south sask we spray at 3 leave stage with herbicide+grasshoppers
Super dry conditions where the wheat couldn’t grow any vegetation to cover the ground. Then late rains filled the heads and sprouted weed seeds. It kept raining growing those weeds big time. Couldn’t spray them until wheat was mature or else risk damaging the crop.
Cody isn’t your brother is he?
No lol
