Looks like a spectacular hotel Dave but very expensive for my budget , I hear the location is not great for the type of hotel and should be located in a more busy resort ,cheers for showing us though

Popped in to the Hard Rock for a drink when we were staying at the Bahia next door last year. TBH wasn’t impressed. No atmosphere, no staff member approached us to take a drinks order despite sitting for roughly 20mins, it’s very chavvy if you ask me. In the end we got up and left and went to a lovely wee chill out bar called Roca Negra. We were all more than happy to return to the lovely Bahia😊

I still don't understand how all inclusive works for food.
For example, If I were to book an all inclusive holiday through Jet 2, do I get food and drinks all day without having to pay?
For the A la carte restaurants, are they free too? I get that those ones are probably set times though.
I stayed at the Riu Tequila in Mexico, it was a 5 star hotel and we went all inclusive. We didn't have to pay for food as we went all-inclusive, even the a la carte restaurants were free, you just had to book to eat there.

I've stayed at the hard rock universal in Florida - which I love. I'd love to stay here. But what would you recommend as an alternative? Similar money but maybe you get more - since you're not paying for the name?

Stayed at HR Dominica Republic, it's massive the main block is like a shopping mall.! If you weren't in the rock star category then you were not included in half of the events etc. Room was huge very nice.! Didn't like how people walked up and down stopping off anywhere and grabbing a drink, queues at the bars were were massive.!

Dave friends stayed there were not overly impressed and said whilst they did enjoy but wouldn’t return.They said all hype not much substance
Yeah I mean it's exciting for a day or two but after that it's just an overpriced hotel really.

@@gordy7868 I stayed there for 11night had to move room 3 times wicked with cockroaches when clean pulled bed out oh my god .Staff don't like children ,nothing for children 🙄 apart from a pool.2 cocktails 35euros .My child had her own drink bottle with water in I was told to remove it off the table not allowed
