I tried this build earlier. I switched out squall for cascade for better essence. Squall seems better for pvp. My char doesn’t have that high of resonance or awakening pieces.
For farming Barb and wiz can farm very faster. Necro has a lot of damage and hence very fast in dungeon. For PvE, summoner builds are doing very good be it any class - Like crusader, necro etc. But you can play any class for PvE, overall all do great
When you say everyone is using it, that definitely includes Mao and myself, since I copied it from Mao 😂. Great minds think alike, I guess. With an awakening on the chest OR blessed pebble, and stacking enough beneficial effects duration and cooldown reduction, you can get 100% uptime on rolling surf. Then it doesn’t matter which primary attack you use, and any essences for it will be wasted.
You're really missing the mark and harming your output using Squall and Unyielding. Use Cascade with Dream and Drown helm and Fade to Bronze chest. Small mistake but if this is what your server cluster considers perfect and meta, you all need to go back to the training dummy.
Wind walk and rolling strike is all you need for everything. 100% uptime on rolling strike is just fun as hell

I like Cascade too, but some Cascade essences clash with Rolling Surf? Like the Head and Chest?
Wind edge is getting replaced with rolling surface though...

While you're in rolling surf how do you launch 1 more water blade?
Using eternal gear. Rolling surf eternal gear lets you launch that extra water blade.
