this is giving me "main character singing to a younger sibling as the world crumbles around them" vibes. the main character watches their little sibling die in their arms, and then they are filled with steely resolve as they stand up, grab their weapon, and head back into battle. in other words, this fits the hunger games.

Ok let me paint a picture of how I see the song in the form of a anime by seasons :
Season 1 : we are introduced to a isekaied hero/heroine . He becomes overpowered then mid way through episode 6-7 a demon lord so they start trying to defeat him . We reach episode 12 and they’re in a form of staled mate so we’re ending with a cliffhanger and the hero has a kid with the heroine of the heroes party .
(It would be at this point that the song starts playing )
Season 2 : fast forward 20 years . We see they’re kid . We learn that 5 years after the end of season 1 the hero and his party left in a another attempt to defeat the demon lord after one of the party members finds his hideout . The main heroes disappear . Only 1 party member survives and relays that the party was defeated . The demon lord takes over the world and the world is plunged into chaos and crimes become daily occurrences . They’re kid (for the purpose of easier writing I’ll say it’s a she . Also it’ll tie better with the story in mind ) has grown up being resented by most humans , discriminated and sometimes beaten . We learn she was taken in by some old guy (the classical case of the father’s master becomes the child’s master ) who trains her . She proves to be very good warrior and assassin . We reach her 15th birth day . She has some friends and decides that she wants to change the world . To fix it . She starts a “syndicate” and assassinates or takes down really big and bad figures . It is at this point she realizes that the guy who survived from the hero party is living in luxury in the demon lords domain . We follow her trying to connect dots and after confronting him she finds out that he trapped the heroes into a special magic cave and they’re crystallized . She kills him and decides the syndicate decides to hunt for the magic cave to rescue the heroes . Another cliffhanger.
Season 3 : they start the journey . The demon lord (DL from now on ) discovers they’re plans and starts changing them . We see them tracing the steps they’re father took for about 7 episodes going from village to village . Helping the villagers and running from the demon army . They reach the cave but OH NO ! The DL is already there with his 4 heavenly kings . They start fighting . She reaches the seal where her parents and other party members where sealed . When they do they try breaking the seal but they can’t cause it’s “unbreakable” . They fight again but this time the heroine , (I have to give her a name … how about … Akame ) Akame gets mortally wounded . With her last breath the seal somehow breaks . Upon doing so they see that it turns out that the seal doesn’t stop the time for those inside . They all died to hunger . DL and his heavenly kings laugh . BUT THEN , time stops , she hears a voice . Very Familiar one . She no longer feels pain and gets up . She realizes the her body remained in place but she could still move . She hears the voice again and sees the former hero party . They thank her for freeing them . And tell her .
Her dad : “We’re sorry we left you . I don’t hope you can forgive us … but we wish to help you “
Akame : “How … how can you possibly …”
All of them : (they smile) “you’ll see”
She sees that they all point to they’re weapons . We will never leave you again .
Time resumes . The DL and the HK(heavenly kings) still laughing stop . She gets up . No longer injured.
Someone from her party : “ H… How ? Akame you’re okay !”
She ignores them all and goes where the seal broke . When she approaches spirits start flying around her then they take shape . Her father’s soul turns into a beautiful sword . Her mother’s soul into a pendant . Some of the rest of the party turns into a armor that gets immediately equipped on her . And the rest turn into weapons for the current party . The OP song starts playing and they completely destroy the DL and HK .
The rest I’m to tiered to continue cause it’s 2 ducking am .
Anyway I’m impressed with my self hoped you liked it .

The music sounds so conflicting, but in such a good way.
The sweet singing and the soft music is so gentle, gives you some sort of nostalgic feeling as if you're reminiscing back to the old days.
But then there's that eerie part of the backround music.. the anxiety inducing part.. Its as if you're saying to yourself that "everything's gonna be okay", but there's that one problem you can't get out of your mind.
And soon that eerie part takes over to more dramatic music. You're waking up back to reality and you remember your current situation...
The music fits incredibly to scenarios of "Flashbacks to when the world was still peaceful before destruction and chaos" and god I love it so much.
This is the song for my "mostly ignored good character that turns into an unexpectedly strong villain"

This gave me chills, you should definitely make more of these, it always sounds like a song for a movie trailer, yk amazingly dramatic and fits the entire storyline and stuff. you make the music covers give a really different vibe to the original song, It's amazing how you can change a song to an ENTIRELY different one but it still being both the same lyrics and it still changes the entire meaning of the song, I'm genuinely impressed.
