I am a trucker and I have this same cooler. It gets thrown around in my cab and at the plant. A year later and still looks new and works like new. My lunch ice packs stay cold for over 24 hours and I can always rely on having temp safe food at hand. Love this mini cooler!
A jobsite cooler absolutely needs a lock hasp. I have found laborers stealing from my lunchbox in the past. Not to mention the practical jokers. As the guy who actually put a water moccasin in my partners lunchbox, I am always on the lookout for payback. The locking capability is nice.
I love Eric's honestly, I do love it but there are some con's I see. I just got it for Father's Day and can't wait to try it as a cooler at the beach! 😁🍻
I like that the tool brands are trying to make their way into the cooler market but i guarantee that this cooler would not stand up to my Sub Zero rotomoled cooler. I put ice in it on monday and empty the water on friday. It gets tossed around in the back of a dumptruck or a trailer all week and has been holding up well for 3 years. If they dont recommend that you stand on this cooler then i doubt it would last on a jobsite. I really do like the padlock and upper lid storage options, but companies like klein could make a higher quality cooler. Just my $.02.
A 7 gallon bucket with a screw on top and a nylon strap works great. cut some stainless or aluminum sheet for dividers and good to go!! But the Klein feed bucket is nice also.
Spend the money on a yeti. The Klein cooler fills with water in the rain. Pretty much useless as a lunch box for guys that work outside. Ruined my key fob and wallet. That’s what I get for being cheap.
Looks like a Rigid product. Klein doesn't need to be selling out like this. They come off as exploiting their prestigious reputation to sell us over-priced swag.

Did those posts in the photo show the actual time that the ice was in the cooler 24hrs 48hrs and 72 hours later

Looks great I like that it can be locked. I have had my food stolen out of my cooler while i was at work.
That's sad.

It was 83 in Chicagoland yesterday. Going to be 85 today!!! 😊😊😊
