Thanks and thank you for watching! That Formula E body was a tough one. I don't think there's an easy way to go about. If I knew I probably would've thought twice.
Excellent videos really enjoy them all very Zen! Great tunes in this one, thanks i downloaded them all. Brought back memory's as i used to catch that train in track 3 :)
Hi Lucas Genair. Here is a list of the artist. I'm sorry I don't have a list of the songs immediately available. They're all licensed music: Bastien Slice, Brendon Moeller (I believe this is the London train one and if I recall the song it's Deep Into London), Velda, Aleph One, Mar Vei
It's a good looking chassis and canter lever shocks I just wish it was more hobby grade but then it would cost more.. And that's where the fun of customisations come in 👍👍😎
True. It's actually a very capable and fun chassis. Quite fast too. I think it just depends on what you intend to do with it. There are upgrades to get it to a certain level but you're right. It will cost more. If you want something more serious within the Tamiya line, you should check out the TA07 MSX, I think they still sell them.
This how models should be built, I’m very similar in my methods as I race 1/10th, everything put together in a clean environment with huge attention to detail given Just subscribed and now on with watching your other vids 👍👍👍
Thanks for the wonderful videos of assembling RC cars. I just became a subscriber of your UA-cam. I used make those thirty years ago. Now I am retired and have plenty of times and money to get into the RC cars. Things have changed a lot especially in electronics, speed control and brushless motors. I will continue to watch your videos until I feel confident enough to re-start my old time passion. Do you have a training video on electronics and controls?
Sorry about that, yes I did. Actually on that part the camera battery died and those two parts/scenes got clipped just when I put on the top chassis. Thanks for watching!
Great build as always! I enjoy watching your builds and always leaves me motivated to build a kit. If you don’t mind, what after market rims did you use?
Thanks, Daniel C! And thank you for watching. The wheels are HPI 112812 but they are a tad wide with 6mm offset so some modification to the body is needed. In the end (run video), I went back and used the stock wheels as I wanted it lower and didn't want to alter the body any further. However, if you like it I'm sure you can make it work with some tweaks or a different body.
Thanks for watching and sub. Here is the list of parts (I also have them listed in the description). Let me know if you need more information: Motor: Tamiya 10.5T Brushless TBLM-02S ESC: Tamiya TBLE-03S (w/ fan) Servo: MKS X5 HBL550LX (low profile) Receiver: KO Propo KR-241FH Battery: NiMH 6 cell 7.2v Custom LED tail light HPI Wheels (for testing only)
i keep blowing rear diff gears in mine (and rear diff pinion) approx every 20 to 30min drive time. Running 2s, castle 7700kv road edition. I have been taking a lot of care on acceleration, but still blowing them in short order. is there a metal upgrade? the tamiya plastic parts just not handling even 2s power :(. First tamiya. Love how this drives and handles, very disappointed in the gears - first car ever had issue with just blowing gears.
Yes, your workspace is impeccable! It’s well lit, neat and you seem to have all the right tools. Incidentally, I’ve always used manual screwdrivers to assemble tamiya kits. What electric screwdriver are you using?
Thanks, Jason! And thank you for watching. I used to work on 1:1 vehicles as a hobby and have amassed some tools overtime. The driver is a Muchmore electric driver. I believe it was designed for RCs where the torque isn't too strong so it can help limit thread stripping. It's probably one of the best investments if you work on RC cars a lot-saves your wrist.
Thanks for watching, RC Pete! Haha! I know. I prefer not wearing the gloves, really, but I have nerve damage in some of my fingers and after a while (when building) it starts to hurt. The gloves just helps me keep going.
Thanks for watching! Sorry for the late response. That's a good question. I haven't used LiPo on the builds for a few reasons--I actually travel a lot and there are times when I'm not at home for a long time, sometimes months, and I don't want to worry about monitoring the batteries even in storage mode. I also have not done competitive racing in ages so personally there's just no reason now. I do like building more than running and spend more time on the workbench when Im at home. However, I have ran some of the cars with LiPo--I just borrow them from a friend and also that friend gave me a lot of NiMH batteries :D.
I hate it when I accidentally cut or trim the wrong line on the polycarbonate bodies. It all starts to look the same after a while. Or the instructions don't exactly match what is to be trimmed.
I feel the same way! It's kinda stressful sometimes. However, I've seen people mark or draw cut lines outside the protective film with washable ink/pen.
I got it from a Japanese seller on Amazon some time ago. Unfortunately, it seems it's not easy to find nowadays or if you find one the asking price is too steep. Good luck!
Man that looks an annoying build. It seems the first thing you have to do is put washers in the holes under the chassis!?. Also.. I couldn’t have all my hardware in one pot. Must take ages to find each part. I recommend one of the cheap painters pallets with the seperate dishes for nuts , bolts, washers and bearings etc. Also I’d have to cut all my plastics off beforehand or is spend hours sorting through sprues and picking up the side cutters . Looks like you enjoyed it tho which is the main thing. Loved your egress and astute builds.
It wasn't that bad to build, thinking back. The thing I didn't like as much was the tight space for all the electronics and wires-and then the body was quite interesting to trim. Thanks for watching!
The least favorite part to do for you is the most interesting part for me to watch, love it when you assembling the body... Good job!
Thanks, Pegi Hermawan! And thank you for watching.
My copy is arriving tomorrow and looking forward to building another excellent Tamiya Kit.
Congrats, TrueToad! I hope you enjoy the build and run. Good luck!
oh my gosh you are the man i have just found this first kit you have built an i will watch all you videos my friend
wow! She's gorgeous! The body requires a lot of hard work... great job, man!
Thanks! It definitely was a chore to work on the TC01 body 😅 but I think after this, working on other car bodies seem quite easier now.
The fact you cleaned your work station regularly tells me you pay attention to detail. Subbed! Keep it up!
Thank you for watching, noticing, and the sub! Really Appreciate it.
I just bought one. Didn't build it yet. So just in time.. Thanks for sharing!!! Subed..
Thanks, d smooth! Really appreciate it. Good luck with the build and I hope you have fun!
Stunning kit. Well done! I'd likely need a second body after mucking up the first, and a third to set on fire.

I loved the tunes too, can you link me up to which tracks ?

Thanks a lot
I have the ex2 as well..updated the expansion to 2.12 so its the same as exrr...great build.
I like how the Ko Propo looks clean and simple too.

@@MechanicAfterHours the egress is something else!!! 😍
Thanks!
Another great build, looks really cool
Thanks, Lucas Geniar! Appreciate it and thank you for watching.

Wow...Very much part.😱
Thank you for watching
Yo I love this music!!!!!!

I enjoy all you’re vids I’m subscribed with another channel
Thanks, Auto Body Everything! I appreciate the sub :)
Beau projet, top ta vidéo 👍👍👍
Merci, David B! J'apprécie les commentaires!
Just wondering, did you grease the gears at all? Didn't see any application.
Sorry about that, yes I did. Actually on that part the camera battery died and those two parts/scenes got clipped just when I put on the top chassis. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful video! Can you please share with us how you made those glowing break discs in the wheels? It looks awesome.
Thanks! They are aftermarket LED brake disc lights that are already made. I believe it’s used for drift cars.
amazing love it
Thank you for watching!

Thats so clean, definitely subbed. Wondering If you could list the parts you used in this video.
Thanks 👊🏻

I Don't Know How You Have Dexterity when wearing those rubber gloves all the time?? I can't feel what I'm touching when I've got them on?
Thanks for watching, RC Pete! Haha! I know. I prefer not wearing the gloves, really, but I have nerve damage in some of my fingers and after a while (when building) it starts to hurt. The gloves just helps me keep going.
Beautiful build! Is there a reason you run it on nimh instead of lipo?
Thanks for watching! Sorry for the late response. That's a good question. whoaaaw... I need the LEDs for the rims/tires.. where to get them? btw. nice soundtrack and nice work.
Thanks, Lemonatic. And thanks for watching. I got them on eBaym typed in LED brake disc.
Can you make them glow on decelerating not accelerating?@@MechanicAfterHours
Do you have a video that showcases your RC collection?
Thanks for watching, Greg Jackson! No I don't but maybe one day I will.
👍

Rubber cement, link anyone, big bottle. Not just one squeese.
Hi my friend All this how much $ ?
Hi, we’re did you purchase the ESC?
I got it from a Japanese seller on Amazon some time ago. Unfortunately, it seems it's not easy to find nowadays or if you find one the asking price is too steep. Good luck!

Hi nerk23. Thanks for watching. Just for looks and I was curious but I ended up not putting it in.
